"Whoever it may be, save me, save me." ~ Lie [BTS]

When Jungkook had entered Jimin's house, with the key Jimin had provided him, he was a bit more than shocked to hear giggling from downstairs. He went down the marble staircase quietly and stopped in his tracks when he stepped off the last one, raising an eyebrow at the scene in front of him.

Rosie and Jimin were talking softly with each other and laughing as she painted a fresh coat of black onto his nails. They were completely unaware of the ravenette walking their way with a small smile on his lips.

"Well what's going on here?" he asks in amusement, though the tiredness was evident in his rough voice.

Rosie squeaks in fright and holds the polish close to her chest, glaring playfully at Jimin when he burst out laughing.

"What do you think of them?" Jimin asks, holding his hands up with a cocky grin.

"They look great, Chim," Jungkook compliments, and the honey-haired boy smiled so wide his eyes turned into little crescent moons.

Rosie was studying Jungkook silently as Jimin filled him in on what they had done for the past few hours. His hair was messy, as if he had ran his fingers through it one too many times, and he seemed tense. The look of exhaustion was not one Rosie was unfamiliar with, so she sat down the nail polish and stood up.

Both boys were quite surprised when Rosie hugged Jungkook's middle and snuggled into his chest, the ravenette's arms wrapping around her with a tired chuckle.

"So everything was good?" Jungkook asks, running his fingers through her hair.

"It was perfect," Jimin nods with a smile. "You'll call me later?"

You'll tell me about tonight?

"Ask Yoongi about it," Jungkook's voice suddenly turned dark, causing Rosie to rest her chin on his chest as she looked up at him. "He'll fill you in."

"Was everything okay?" she asks quietly, her worried eyes searching his dark face.

"It was fine, baby," he says softly, running both hands back through her hair to cup her face. "Ready to go?"

When Jungkook had dropped Rosie off, she wasn't ready to leave. Even if he lived across the street, and even if she felt like she was being clingy, she continued to talk with him as he sat on his bike.

"Is your family okay?" she asks timidly.

"They're okay, Rosie," he smiles, nudging his head towards her house. "You better get inside before it gets too cold. Taehyung's home now."

"Yeah," she murmurs, looking at her brother's car. "Well... thank you, Jungkook."

"For what?" he asks, tapping his fingers against the helmet on his lap.

"For today," she responds, leaning down and pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Goodnight."

"G-goodnight," he stutters, audibly gulping when he watched her walk away.

Jungkook sat there for a few seconds trying to process what had just happened, and when he did, his ears grew a deep shade of red. Rosie had just kissed him! On the cheek, of course, but it was still a kiss.
