Elijah Agnir POV

Cotton candy stall... That's where I found Christian

After Christan left the restaurant, the rest of the dinner time was- nothing, nothing happened, we just sat there

So the next morning after work I wandered around the city and I see Chris at a cotton candy stall

Right now he's not wearing some expensive suit, he's wearing a light blue hoodie that matched his eyes and white pants as well as the shoes

His hair wasn't styled formally, it looked like it was just combed

He smiled at the vendor, it wasn't a charming smile but a happy smile, I could watch this all day

And someone familiar was approaching him, I grit my teeth

I'm jealous... But I don't know who to be jealous of

The person who approached was Emily Smith.

Emily Smith POV

"Chris! I haven't seen you in a while! I missed you!" I cling onto him

He thrashed my arm away from him, what?

"Hello miss Smith, how are you" he spoke to me, but not like he likes me like always but like I was holding a employee

"I'm fine! How are you Chris! You don't know how sad I was" I pout "I didn't receive any gifts do you... not love me anymore?"

Why is he calling me by my surname?

I tear up, usually he comforts me or we go shopping

"Miss Smith, I am your boss, for you to cling onto me was inappropriate, even if I do love you, doing that makes it seem like your taking advantage of it" he says to me

What? What is he accusing me of?!?!

I cry more, people were now staring at us

He sighed and left

I grab his hands and cry to not leave but... He looked at me annoyed

"Miss Smith! Your crying about me not acknowledging you like we're something, yes I courted you, but that's was weeks ago plus I courted you for months and you give me no answer, now that I ignore you, you come to me"

Why is he saying that out loud?!?! People are listening! I'm going to look bad

That was the last straw for me, I sobbed loudly

"Miss Smith if you want people to buy you gifts you have other four people to hold on too, you have been playing with me and my friend's feelings" he says to me

And the people who overhead now looks at me with judgement

"And I may add that I'm your boss, and these past few months you have been neglecting your work and duty to hangout with me or my friends" he sighed again and looked at me dead serious

"Miss Smith your fired" he says and walks away

What was that??? Did something happen, I couldn't take it anymore, the humiliation

Christian Terazi is a player! I hate him, but he was so nice to me... If I screw up at work he won't scold me and spends a lot of time with me

He didn't love me truly...

I cry and fall on my knees, I look up to see Elijah Agnir

Ahhh, maybe he loves me, I get up and ran to him

I hug him and cry in his arms, I tell him all about how Chris hurt my feelings

But I get cut off

"Emily you... I have been to blind to see that you are a leeching whore" he says to me

He pushed me off him, everybody there saw

With the recent conversation with me and Chris and now this

People will think I'm a slut!

I tear up and sob loudly, someone come to me! Someone comfort me

But Elijah leaves and no one comes
