it's the next day and the nurses said if the psychiatrist approves, Jaden can come home tonight!! but he has to be on close watch, DJ installed cameras and alarms at the doors that lead outside and Jess is locking up the meds so he doesn't know where they are, my job is just to keep him calm and make sure he's not being put under any stress or anything that could trigger him, because right after an episode he could very easily go into another one.
I've been awake for a while just on my phone then Jaden finally wakes up
Y/n: good morning sleepy head
Jaden: morning pretty girl
he says in his morning voice, rubbing his eyes
Y/n: you might get to go home today!
Jaden: i hope so, one night in this uncomfortable bed is enough
Y/n: it's only uncomfortable because we're both in it, if you stay i'll get Jayla to bring over an air mattress or something
Jaden: no. your staying with me
Y/n: aw someone's grumpy
Jaden: well i can't sleep without you now
Y/n: what r u gonna do when i go home
Jaden: simple, just don't go home
Y/n: okay i won't then
Jaden: good stay with me forever
Y/n: deal
we both laugh and talk for a while, at 9am visiting hours start again and Jadens family comes back to the hospital.
Jess: the psychiatrist is going to be here in 30 mins, be honest with her please and tell her everything that's been going on
Jaden: yep
a few hours go by and Jaden gets to come home today, we help him pack up his things and Jess signs some papers and we go to the car. Jessica and DJ sit in the front Jaden, Javon and I sit in the back and Jayla sits in the very back row.
The car ride is quiet, I can tell everyone's still pretty angry about what Jaden did, no one's said anything though because we know he can't help it.
We finally get back home and go inside
Jessica: Jaden stay down here, everyone go up stairs please
Javon, Jayla and I all go upstairs and sit in Jaylas room
Jayla: so what do you thinks gonna happen
Javon: idk but moms pissed
Y/n: i do feel bad for him though, he can't help the shit he does when he's like that
Jayla: yeah but he knew what he was doing when he swapped the meds
Y/n: yeah true..
we just sit for a while, I can hear Jaden and Jessica's voices getting louder, they're definitely arguing about something
Jessica: you go to school, baseball, home that's it!
DJ: and y/n is staying with Jayla from now on!
Jaden: what the fuck no u can't do that!
Jessica: hold on DJ can we talk for a minute
*everything goes silent for a while*
i think they all start to calm down because there's no shouting anymore, then we hear Jaden running up the stairs, he walks straight past Jaylas room and to his and slams the door
Jayla: you should probably go check on him
Y/n
Y/n: idk if he'll want me in there right now
Javon: he will, your the only person he'll want right now
Y/n: okay
I walk out and down the hallway and knock on Jadens door
Jaden: fuck off
Y/n: it's me
he unlocks the door and opens it, then goes back over to his bed, I sit down next to him
Jaden: sorry
Y/n: it's alright, you okay?
Jaden: no my parents are pissing me off so much, i do one stupid little thing and i'm not allowed to go anywhere, do anything and now they're trying to make me not be able to hangout with you
Y/n: it's okay Jaden, they're just trying to protect you, when you get out of control like that they need to know where you are.
Jaden: i know, i don't even care about not being able to do anything but what's the point in stopping me from being with you that's just my dad being a fucking dick head
Y/n: it's a punishment J
Jaden: a stupid one
Y/n: yeah
*knock knock*
Jaden: what
Jessica walks in and come and sits down next to us
Y/n: want me to go?
Jess: no your okay
Jess: Jaden i know your angry but what we're doing is for your own good. i talked to your dad and he realises that making you stop hanging out with Y/n was too harsh, we know she's good for you so keep doing ur thing but everything else still applies
Jaden: thanks
Jess: you know we love you, and all we want is to keep you safe
Jaden: yeah love you too
she kisses his head and walks out, closing the door behind her.
Jaden puts his arms around my waist and pulls me in close to him, i put my arms around his neck and lay my head on his shoulder and we just hug for a while.
Jaden: thank you
Y/n: what for
Jaden: everything.
i pull back out of the hug and just look at him, he looks exhausted and drained, it's so horrible seeing the person you love like this.
Jaden: i get it if your still angry
Y/n: i'm not angry, i'm just upset
Jaden: i'm sorry i scared you like that
Y/n: just please promise me you'll never do anything like that again.
Jaden: i promise
Y/n: i love you
Jaden: i love you too
Jayla: hey guys wanna come hang in my room
Jaden: yeah
Y/n: okay
