11. "why what did you hide there? drugs?"

Evangeline POV 

i was sleeping peacefully when a small body jumped on me 

i quickly open my eyes to see Eva sitting on my stomach with both her legs on either side of me 

"hey there, good morning" i say and  get up 

"you are no fun" she pouts sitting crisscross legged on my bed with a pout 

"oh yeah? why?" i ask with a raise eyebrow 

"when i wake up Angelo like this he cuddles with me more and then kisses here" she says pointing to her forehead and cheeks 

"ok baby come here i will do it" i say and pick her up and kiss her forehead 

"now where is Angelo?" i ask her as she wraps her arms around  my neck 

'in the dinning room with all those new scary people" she says 

"oh ok, come on lets introduce you to everyone" i say and carry her downstairs 

as soon as i am at the dinning hall i see everyone already seated  and having a conversation i guess 

"hi Eva, berry you both came" Angelo said  as he saw us coming through the front door

"hi we just came how are you settling in till now?" i ask everyone 

"pretty great and it would be awesome if you could answer some of our questions starting with who this little girl is?" Massimo asked pointing to Eva 

just as  i was about to reply  a all to familiar voice came from the front door 

"gorge, we are early, don't tell to Angelo and Evangeline,  we will surprise her" shouted Alex banging the door and entering the  hall 

as soon as he and Marie step foot in the dining room (because it was next to living room) they both stopped and starred at the whole crowd 

"more people, just great" Eva said with a sigh clearly no liking it 

"uncle Lexi! aunt Marie! you came!" Angelo shouted and jumped on Alex who fell down

"you are early?" i state 

"there goes your plan of surprising them" Marie chuckles 

"how are you?" i ask Marie   

"fine just few mood swings"  she replied 

'you mean lot right? and who are they?" Alex asks 

"well they are our new family, they will live i this house with us and so will Eva" Angelo said with a bug smile 

"gorge, ask few maids to put their luggage in their room and you must be hungry after flight, lets eat, we can introduce ourselves at breakfast"  i say as gorge nods and leaves and we all sit at the dinning table which only has five more empty seats 

"it feels odd" Eva said breaking the silence 

"why?" i ask 

"yesterday, it was just you me Angelo and gorge and now the room is full" she says and i chuckle

"i know, now lets introduce ourselves, shall we?"  i say making everyone nod 

"everyone knows me and Angelo so skip our part" i say and wait for them to began 

"i am Massimo Moretti" 

"i am his wife Isabella Moretti"

"Alexzander"

"Callum"

"Greyson"

"Xander"

"Xavier"

"Marie"

"Alex"

"my name is Eva"

"great anymore questions?" i ask as everyone nods 

i sigh and say "fine ask what ever you want" 

"why is the French mafia underboss living in the same roof with us?"  Xander asked glaring at Alex and Marie 

"you better teach your children how to respect elders, Moretti" Alex gritted out 

"no fighting in my roof" i say blankly "and Xander, you have a problem with him means you have it with me so speak up loud and clear" i say 

"love, please explain how you are able to afford such a huge place and how you know the underboss of French mafia" Massimo said 

"ok first of all, i have a name Alex, not 'underboss' and second can we eat already?" Alex whined 

"eat, i will also stat with you let them starve just by looking at the food" Angelo said taking a sip of pancake 

"look i know you are concerned about what i do but i cant tell you immediately, i will open up when you decide to and also, never go to the basement" i say as basement right now is full of visitors who are not great to see 

"why what did you hide there? drugs?" asked Xander 

i swear  i will kill him 

"no but you wont like what is in there, kid, you should stay away" Alex said 

i know that now he will definitely go to see what is in there 

as we both are same in one way or the other 

we don't like being told not to do something 

well lets see what tomorrow brings us
