Chapter 45:

I walk past a group of people sitting at a table in the library.

I rub my eyes, last night was tiring after we got home. We all went straight to bed and I woke up with Adriano next to me. I still need to ask him about what he was doing in my room.

I have a free period now so I'm looking around in the library. I walk through one of the isles and look for a book for my history homework.

'The history of politics,' I mutter as I walk to the back isle.

I scan the shelves and see that's it's on the top shelf. I stretch my arm out to reach it and my fingers barely graze the book. My crop top raises and exposes my side.

I go onto my tiptoes and I can't reach it.

I feel someone tickle my sides and I squeal and turn around to them.

Adriano is smirking at me with his arms crossed.

'Let me help you,' he says.

He reaches up and brings down the book for me. He keeps his left hand on the shelf on top of me caging me in.

I take the book out of his other hand.

'I could've done that myself,' I say.

'Clearly,' he rolls his eyes.

His grey eyes dart down to my lips and his right hand snakes around my waist. I can feel his hand on my bare back.

'Why were you in my room?' I ask.

'I couldn't sleep and wanted to see if you were awake, turns out I sleep better when I'm next to you,'  He smirks.

'Maybe that's because I have control over you,' I smirk looking up at him.

At this point I'm just messing around with him. But thank god no one can see us since we're at the back of the library.

'I think I have more control over you,' he says. His hand trails up my spine. My breath hitches and I try to cover it up.

'Really?' I ask innocently.

My hand goes to his belt and I pull him in closer to me, not looking away from his gorgeous eyes.

He leans down and his lips brush mine.

'Dilara there you are!' A voice says.

Adriano quickly gets off me and turns to look at the other shelves of books. I straighten my shirt and look at who called me.

Aiden.

'Hey Aiden,' I smile.

Adriano looks his way and his jaw clenches.

'I'll see you later pazza,' Adriano says. He walks past Aiden and barges into him.

'I hope I wasn't interrupting something,' he says.

'What's up?' I ask, trying not to sound mad.

'Carlos has some questions about the history homework,' he explains.

'Ok let me just check out this book and we'll go to him.' I say.

I walk to the librarians desk and she checks out the book for me.

Aiden and I walk into the canteen and we walk to our usual spot.

Terzo waves me over to his table where Zoya, Alora, Lorenzo and Adriano are sitting.

'Sorry,' I mouth as I sit down next to Kai.

'Dilara we haven't seen you in ages, have you forgotten about us already!' Kai laughs, putting an arm around my shoulders.

'Be careful her bodyguard might see you Kai,' Aiden says.

'He's not my bodyguard,' I say.

I move away from Kai a little bit, making him move his arm.

'Guys I've just been preoccupied,' I laugh.

I take the history book out and place it in front of Carlos.

'This should have all the information for the grids we need to fill in,' I explain.

'Thanks Dilara,' He says opening the book.

'So what's happening with you and Adriano?' Alara asks.

'Nothing really,' I reply. 'We're just good friends,'

'Looked like something when I found you in the library,' Aiden smirks.

Carlos looks up from his book in shock and pushes up his glasses.

'What happened to Diana?' I ask changing the subject.

'Over there,' Carlos says.

I look over at her and see that she's sitting on Blake's lap.

'She's moved onto the Football captain,' I roll my eyes.

'Speaking about football, Carlos's game is next week,' Kai says. 'You coming?'

'I'll try,' I reply.

I look at Lorenzo's table and see that Adriano isn't there.

Suddenly I'm pulled up from my seat and Adriano smirks at me.

He presses his lips onto mine and kisses me passionately. His hands travel up my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck and start playing with his chain.

I return the kiss and his hand traces my spine.

Terzo whistles loudly and people start clapping. Adriano pulls away, leaving us both breathless.

'I have one thing to say,' Adriano says, catching the attention of everyone in the canteen. 'Hands off and eyes down.'

He gives me a peck on the cheek before letting me sit back down. I'm still flustered that he did that in front of everyone.

'That definitely looked like nothing,' Carlos tries not to laugh.

'Well maybe there something going on,' I say quickly, putting my hair behind my ear.

'Oh really, we didn't notice,' Kai laughs.

'I figured it out ages ago,' Alara looks unfazed. 'When she came into the canteen with hickeys and Adriano following her.'

'She had hickeys!' Aiden exclaims.

'God, boys really are stupid,' she says exasperated.

'You know you love me,' He smirks putting his arm around her.

'Congrats Dilara,' Carlos smiles at me.

'Thanks,' I reply.

I look around and see everyone talking, I think we'll be the topic of conversation for weeks.

Diana is glaring at me from Blake's lap and I smirk at her. She can be mad all she wants, I couldn't care less.

I look over at Zoya and Alora and see them smiling at me. Alora sticks her thumbs up and Zoya laughs.

I look up and see Adriano staring at me.

'Stop staring,' I mouth.

'I'm enjoying the view,' He mouths back, winking.
