How is it possible that there were so many Tanias if there weren't fake moles mixed in?

After almost a thousand years of unstable peace, the wizards finally decided to break the pot and openly invade the mages, now how could the mages easily let themselves be bullied?

It only looked as if the mages had compromised by sending in their young ones when in reality they were burying spies everywhere in the wizard domain. To put it bluntly, it was just a different form of open and secret struggle between the two races.

But honestly speaking, Titania did not imagine that her identity as the wizard king's lover would be exploited in such a manner by the mage faction. It made her feel horrified and disgusted at the same time.

But since these seniors who came in as spies had completely different agendas than her, it was none of her business if they remained alive or died by the hands of Eganius Cline. Now all she needed to do was sit tight and watch the fire burn from the other side and finally slip away when an ample opportunity presented itself.

But soon she found somethings took a drastic turn. Tania found that the people in the underground dungeon was being emptied out at a speed visible to the naked eyes.

Her conjectures were further found to be true when Alania, after enquiring about it, came back with a face filled with horror, "Sister Nia!" She whisper-hollered, "It's over! I heard that Eganius Cline is not summoning the people here in a batch of 100 each. And none of the people who had gone out ever came back!"

Tania's eyes grew wide with horror as she couldn't help but curse, "F*ck!"

Was this a sudden mass massacre scene? What was going on in here!?

But Alania continued, "However! I also found that the people who had been taken out these days seem to be mostly spies sent in by the various mage towers. I think that the wizards and Eganius Cline had found clues to the buried moles amidst us. Fortunately we are not one of these despicable spies. Otherwise...." Alania couldn't help but shudder at the very thought of it while she patted her chest with lingering fears.

"Actually, it is good that there are so many people with the pet name Nia, we can acquire more info about the current situation in this manner." She silently comforted herself with that.

Tania, "......."

No, she doesn't care about any information about Eganius Cline, she just wants to stay as far away as possible from Eganius Cline, okay!

But Tania also couldn't help but be curious, she had still not forgotten the fact that Eganius Cline thought that she was loud-mouthed, annoying, flirty and courageous, and that was exactly his type! So, after failing to restrain herself, she finally asked, "What kind of information is it?"

Alania drew closer to her and whispered in her ear, "I have heard several versions of information all of which belonged to Eganius Cline and that lover of his, do you want to hear?" Seeing Tania nod, Alania continued, "I heard that this 'Nia' is actually the reincarnation of Eganius Cline's first love. Didn't Eganius Cline not ascend to the throne before a thousand years? It is reasonable to suspect that he had a lover back then, and she somehow tragically died by the hands of a mage, and the grief-stricken King Eganius Cline chose to slay the then wizard king and ascend to the throne just to avenge his dead lover, and now, after a thousand years, that woman he loved has finally reincarnated!"

Tania, "....."

And Alania excitedly continued, "There is another version! That woman called Nia, had stolen something extremely important from Eganius Cline! And that, he is actually not looking for a lover, but for a mortal enemy."

Tania, ".........."

"Now wait, there's more! And this is the most convincing version! This Nia is not someone that Eganius Cline likes. I mean how could a thousand years old wizard like a girl of mere fifteen years of bone age. This little Nia is actually the long lost daughter of Eganius Cline!"

Tania, "..................."

Tania almost choked on her own saliva, clutched her chest with an extremely strange expression on her face. She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Indeed, rumors were only ever rumors, and there was really no truth to them.

That night, those baseless rumors somehow stimulated Tania to open her communicational key once more. And the moment she came online she heard, "Nia?" Voice, clear and very pleasant, like pearls dropping onto a jade plate, the shingles it still sent down her spine when she heard his beautiful voice never did change.

"Nia! I know you are there. You can't hide from me for very long. I will soon find you."

And the things Eganius Cline said to her became more and more weird, "Nia, you have become more naughty since the last time. But, you're still very young, so I understand." He sighed and continued, "But since you have decided to hide from me and offend me, don't think about walking out unscathed. Look at you now, you open the communicational key but dare not speak. Perhaps, did you do something to wrong me, hmm?"

"Nia, if you sincerely apologize and are obedient, I will definitely not punish you. So, don't hide anymore and come to me, or else... there will be no place to cry even if you want to in the future."

On the other hand, Titania only felt that his words were becoming more and more terrifying, and at the end of the call, all of her hair at the back of her neck stood up like the hair of a frightened kitten.

Why did she suddenly feel that this guy.... Eganius Cline was being stimulated more and more  by her silence!
