Said your friends didn't want ya
But I swear I do
Say what we are
Time's not a problem, do you think we were moving too fast?

IVEN

Everyone was dismissed to go get our swimwear so we don't wet our normal clothes while riding the kayak

I picked out my black swim trunks put them on then walked back to the river waiting for Nora to come back out

A few minutes go by and I finally see her walking out of her cabin she's wearing the same black shorts she had on earlier with a sky-blue bathing suit

"Took you long enough" I let out when she's close enough to me she smiles her dimples showing

"Shut up I didn't even take that long stop being dramatic Iven" that dimpled smile still plastered on her small face

I stare at her a little too long then clear my throat looking away not wanting to creep her out "You can pick out which kayak you want" She analyzes the boats for a second before picking out the blue kayak with small elephants on it

"Blue seems to be your favorite color Nora" We grab onto the kayak and push it into the water "Yes I love the color blue in my opinion it's the best color in the rainbow"

She begins to take her shorts off and places them on the clean set of towels that were handed to us

I shake my head "No color on the rainbow can beat purple" I laugh when her face twist in disgust "Purple is the ugliest color to ever exist and I'll never change my mind"

"Yeah yeah have fun with your basic Blue" I jokingly roll my eyes

We get into the kayak both facing each other
I began grabbing the paddle then we start to paddle

It's been about three hours and thirty minutes since we started riding this kayak and somehow we ended up tilting it over so now I and Nora are trying to grab the kayak before it gets too far

We eventually gave up because the kayak was going too fast and it was too close to falling down the big waterfall and there is no point in going down with it

"I told you to be careful and not to put too much pressure on my side of the kayak" Nora brings her hand up to move the wet hair attached to her forehead away from her face

"What it is not my fault I told you not to move a bug was on your forehead I was nice enough to try to remove it" I scoffed and playfully roll my eyes at her

"Whatever" she mumbles then gets up swimming back to the rocky shore and I follow along
I let out a small chuckle cause she looks cute when she's annoyed

She gets out of the water now that we are on shore she then grabs two clean towels from the bench by the water she hands me one

We dry ourselves and she puts her shorts back on the woman speaks into the megaphone "Campers don't forget to be here back in this spot for our introductions to get to know some of these new faces at 8:40 tonight don't miss it or you'll have a clean-up duty"

We hear a few people groan cause no one likes cleaning duty they make you clean the cafeteria inside out and all of the cabins bathrooms
