CHAP 13 (P.1)

Killer's POV:

~Time before what happened~

Science's words gave me the courage to tell Nightmare the truth, but for that I had to find the perfect moment.

"Did your review go well?" I got scared when I heard Nightmare speak next to the door.

"Y-yes everything normal" I replied in a nervous tone.

I could feel how Nightmare's gaze stayed fixed on me for a few moments before opening a portal to the center of my room in the castle.

"Rest a bit until lunchtime, if it's hard for you to go downstairs, you just have to let someone know to bring your lunch to your room" Nightmare spoke to me, taking the handle from the door to apparently leave the place.

"Wai-" I was interrupted by a shout coming from the floor below.

"I only left them alone for less than 2 hours and they're already destroying my kitchen *sigh* I shouldn't have let Cross offer to help Horror with lunch today" Nightmare expressed angrily "Did you want to tell me something Killer?" He ask myself more calmly.

"N-no, it's nothing" I answered shaking my head a little dejected, Nightmare seemed to notice it since I could see how he was going to open his mouth to speak.

"LOOK FOR WATER I AM BURNING!" I heard Cross scream.

The first floor was filling with screams and sounds of water being spilled indicating that someone had to interrupt that disaster.

"Horror must be waiting for you to help him, I'll take a little nap until lunch so there's no need for you to stay here" I spoke faking a neutral smile, I could see Nightmare's look of resignation but he had to give up when he heard as several crystals were broken on the floor below.

I was finally left alone in the room, my thoughts only filled with disappointment that I couldn't take the opportunity to tell Nightmare the truth.

I had plenty of time to tell him and living in the same castle I had even more possibilities, or so I thought.

Two weeks have passed since the consultation in the Science laboratory.

Nightmare has been very busy and whenever I try to talk to him someone comes to interrupt our chat, today would be the day we could talk alone since no one is in the castle because they already have other plans.

"Today we are alone, so you can ask me whatever you want" Nightmare told me taking small pieces of food with his sockets closed.

"The truth is-" I stopped instantly not knowing what else to say 'Damn! I was so focused on getting a chance to talk to Nightmare that I forgot to think about how to start telling him the truth!' I yelled to myself.

I received several looks of confusion from the nightmare that was still waiting for my answer.

"Have you thought about having children?" I asked instantly not realizing what I had asked until a few seconds later 'Well done Killer, you just screwed up the situation' I told myself hitting my forehead mentally.

This chapter is divided into two parts, the reason is that the day I wrote it I was sleepy and the next day I had to get up early.
