[the Jade winglet is standing at the entrance hall, waiting for new students to arrive]
Winter: why are we here?
Quibli: to welcome the new students
Winter: and why did they chose our winglet to do it
Peril: because one of them is a new mud wing moving to our winglet
Winter: blah
Kinkajou: come on ice-face, cheer up, there are more ice wings coming for the new lapis winglet
Winter: intelligent beings, finally
Moon: [points at sky] they're coming!
Sunny[who has snuck up behind them]: remember to smile!
Clay:that means you Winter
[the new dragons arrive one ice wing, two mud wings a night wing, rain wing, sand wing, sea wing and sky wing land]
Tsunami: hello there new students! I am Tsunami, head of school, Shelf, murk, wind caller, Jaguar, bright sting, reef and Bluejay, you are going with Sunny for your tour
Sunny:come along
[they file out, leaving a big male mud wing sitting awkwardly]
Tsunami: Lechwe, you are with the Jade winglet [turns to them] Winter and Quibli will be your clawmates, the winglet will now show you around the school and your sleeping cave
[Tsunami and Clay leave]
Quibli: hi Lechwe, I am Quibli, the funniest dragon ever. The grumpy ice-breather is winter. The rain wing is Kinkajou, the sky wing is Peril, do not touch her ever, the seawing is Turtle and the nightwing is Moon
Lechwe: hi. I am Lechwe, I like cows and I want to be just like Clay
Kinkajou: well let's go! There's a million things to see, let's go!
[they run after her as she speeds down a hallway]
