"i'm used to this weather but it's pretty fucking cold right now," vivian said as they got out the minivan.
"here take my jacket." matt hands it to vivian but she shakes her head. "wear it. it's too cold," she responds.
"it's okay, i have another one in the backseat. I came prepared," he jokes. he goes behind her and helps her put it on. once he has his spare jacket on, he interlocks his hand with vivian's and leads them down to the beach. she thanks the hood of her own sweater for hiding her scarlet cheeks.
