ASTER FINALLY UNDERSTOOD why kids hated high school so much.
She didn't mind the material she was learning in her classes. She already knew it all, so if anything, it was a nice refresher.
The issue was the classes themselves. She had to sit there for what felt like hours, left with nothing to do except to listen to the teacher's boring voice and watch the seconds tick by on the clock.
It was torture. And this was coming from a girl who had literally been tortured before.
After Calculus, Aster had Physics. She made it there in time, despite turning down Peter's offer to show her where the rest of her classes were. She didn't want to make him later to his first period than he already was.
