THE NEXT MORNING, Aster and Tony wasted no time. They gathered their findings and with a final tentative goodbye to Morgan and Pepper, they drove to the Avengers Compound.
The first person they saw was Steve, standing outside of the Compound with his hands on his hips, looking completely and utterly defeated. Clearly, whatever attempt they tried at Time Travel wasn't successful.
Tony pressed his foot to the pedal of the Audi R8, speeding up as soon as he saw Steve. Hearing the approaching vehicle, Steve lifted his head, watching as the car pulled up in front of him. Aster shot Tony an amused look when he stopped too late, having to back up a few feet after they passed Steve by.
