okay wow. i don't even know what to say here, if i'm being honest. i genuinely can't believe it's all come to an end :')
i started planning this book all the way back in like september of 2022, i never thought it would gain any traction or that it might interest people as much as it has. this book has become a form of release and healing to me, since islas character is almost fully based on my own experiences with emotionally abusive relationships.
i wrote this book as an appreciation for my own daniel, who i hope is happy and is living his best life wherever he is today. i wish it had worked out for us as it had for my fictional counterpart
all i can say is just thank you. thank you for loving isla as much as i do. thank you for reading my story and for engaging with it for so long. thank you for all your continued support, even when i fucked up my updating schedule.
