ch.4

Navier took some time off of work to take care of her new baby, surprisingly sovieshu agreed to do her work for her and thus she spent all her days with her newborn. She did her best to fulfill all her duties as a mother and loved every moment of it

Sure there were times where she struggled because she didn't understand the reason for her baby's tears but soon enough she managed to understand and now her baby cries if she doesn't see navier for a moment. It could be a bit hard to handle irene but she didn't mind at all, she loved her daughter much deeply that she too doesn't like it when they separate for a moment

As for rashta's baby, glorym was already 4 months old and rashta didn't really like taking care of her so she would just let the maids do it instead but she would always carry glorym everywhere as if she was a trophy to show off and she continued to visit sovieshu with glorym everytime she could

The contrast of their parenting was quite obvious.

Navier carried irene whilst strolling through the garden, her lady's in waiting were following her as usual. She decided to sit down for a while and have some tea and to feed irene too "please wait a moment your majesty i shall prepare the tea and scones" laura said as she bowed and headed inside countess elieza following her (i finally remembered their names💀)

She sat there waiting patiently as she rocked and hummed to her baby, "uwwah" the baby mumbled happily navier giggled at the baby's little mumble "you like mommy's humming don't you?" She said with a smile the baby smiled back

In a distance can be heard chattering of some people, but in the center of all this is a very high pitched voice somewhat familiar to her, she then saw rashta with a bunch of nobles and she was carrying her baby with her

"Its rashta again, well that's unpleasant huh?" navier said to her baby as she got up to leave "there's too much people here and not to mention an unnecessary filth is in the center, lets take our leave baby we wouldn't want to get bothered by a pile of trash" navier spoke as she smiled at her baby once again

In the distance where the nobles where chatting, rashta was bragging her child to the nobles "it must be nice to have the emperor's daughter. You sure are blessed" a noble said to her they all seemed to he having fun and awing over glorym but a noble spotted the empress with her baby "its the empress with her child!" They said as they pointed towards her direction

"Oh my it is! It seems like she's with the princess" a noble man said as everyone murmured and to their surprised rashta ran towards her leaving them all shoked by this

"Your majesty! Your majesty!" Rashta yelled as she ran to navier, navier realized this and thought to herself "im starting to think she's being stupid on purpose" "is her majesty on a walk with her baby? Rashta is too!" Rashta said while she held glorym

"Ah, we were about to leave" navier said as she wanted to go already "huh, leaving so soon? Why not stay with rashta for a while?" rashta said as her eyes trailed if to irene "her majesty's baby and rashta's baby are siblings right? Why not make them get close to each other! Glorym is the princess's older sister afterall" she continued her words as she smiled at navier

Navier took in a deep breath "sure they may be sisters, but just from the same father. It just so happens that they share the same blood partially from the father's side But would they consider each other siblings if their mother's rival is their siblings'mother?"  Rashta was a bit speechless from this statement

"and i don't want to decide who my baby should be close with that is something she can decide once she's older. Afterall im not a bad mother who decides things for their children, i wouldn't say you understand for you bring around your child just to show off and not care for them at all."

Rashta's eyes widen as she remained speechless. Navier looked at her once more than left

She went back inside not wanting for more stress to come to her. Unknowingly her baby has fallen asleep she chuckled as she realized this "you got tired of her too huh?"

And no I didn't take a long time to update this just because i was trying to remember their names and was just too lazy to google their names no👀
