(Here is something slightly different -- I'm introducing y'all to some of my characters. they're sage and diana, but this one-shot focuses on diana. I'm thinking about posting more of them, only if y'all like.)

She chuckled. "Wave that again, and I'll cut your finger off."

"You don't scare me," the man says, cornering her.

"I don't? Maybe you don't treasure your digits."

"You wouldn't. You're trying to scare me off. Don't worry, I'm into that."

She smirked. He hadn't seen anything yet. She made a huge show of fishing out something from her pocket. The disgusting thing he was, kept staring at her chest as her fingers closed around the object from her pocket.

The man's eye twitched.

A Swiss knife winked back at him. She picked at her nails.

"You're into what?" she asked innocently.

He gulped. Pathetic. "I see you," he said weakly.

"Here, hold this," she offered, which he gladly grabbed. Unease lingered in his stance, but some relief crossed his features.

She gave the man a wicked smile as she pulled a dagger from her boots. "I actually needed this."

Sage chose this moment to walk in. "What the hell did I just walk into?"
