Elianna's POV

We both laid in an awkward silence with our backs facing each other.

Last night was so embarrassing.

They didn't tell me that they were sending that.

To make it worse, he made such a big deal out of it.

We didn't say a word to each other after that. Matter of fact, we didn't even look at each other after that.

I hated how he spoke to me. He just assumed things and shouted.

I played with my ring. I wanted to take it off like he did but I knew it wouldn't make any difference.

He wouldn't care and we would still be married nonetheless.

It accidentally slipped off my finger and fell to the ground.

This was the first time my ring has come off since we got married.

Unlike him, I actually respect keeping on the ring and not just take it off whenever I'm mad at him.

When I stretched it get it, I noticed something was engraved in it.

I took a further look and it was his name.

I looked back at him and his back was still facing me.

I then proceeded to stick both of my middle fingers to him.

Great, he found another way to brand me without me even knowing.

I stared at the ring some more before putting it on the nightstand next to me.

I'm not wearing that.

I'm not walking around with his name on me like I'm some kind of toy he wrote his name on so nobody would steal it.

This is ridiculous.

I've never met such a man like him before. He is just so full of himself and then acts like he doesn't care about anything.

At this point I would have preferred if papa had just paired me with some old guy.

It wouldn't be what I would have wanted but I knew it would be way better than how Enzo is treating me.

I feel like I'm just some toy in his closet that he doesn't like but doesn't want to give away at the same time.

He got out of bed and started walking to the bathroom before he halted.

His head slowly turned to me. "Why is your ring there?"

I ignored him as I continued looking ahead of me but he didn't seem to like that.

He walked closer to me. "Elianna, I'm speaking to you."

"I'm not wearing it anymore."

He held his head. "I can't deal with this so early in the morning. Put it back on."

"No," I said as I stood up. "Why should I?"

"Elianna, put on the damn ring," he said more irritated.

"No!"

His face looked a whole lot grumpier. "Put on the ring."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because this is a marriage and in marriages we wear rings."

"You took yours off!"

"Yeah, and then I put it right back on! Now quit annoying me and put back on the ring before I really get upset."

I picked up the ring and showed it to him. "Why is your name on it!?"

He ignored my question. "Put on the ring."
