the silence

Bright, light blue sky
Half-opened window
Unreflected ghosts
Sun-lit shadows

Imaginable faces, blurred dreams
Unpredicted feelings, buried so deep
In the silence of two ghosts
One tried to sleep, and the other's losing control
Cutting disappointments, missing its track
There is no reason why they got attacked

Then he lays down in a cardboard house
Tired, sleepless, and thinking, feelings will fall
Straight through the ground
Whether there will be rain or there's nothing at all
If the sun's shining now, why is the silence so cold?
And the atmosphere feels like it shouldn't be this
Watching time move feels like seeing ghosts I'll never miss

The blankness shouts what is dark and what's gleaming
Waiting consumes the clock, and it's like watching it tick
Over and over, in repeat

If I don't feel lucky
Then it must be a curse to be born like this
When the silence forced me to be loud
Now I can't speak
Then said, "Don't be afraid, just come out
Escape that cage, be brave."
Am I out of danger? Can I be happier?
But isn't it time?
I must be shouting now
