What am I blamed for?

He was in quiet a shock right now, he had to be because the person who first in the morning argued with him was on the bed with wires connected to him, Warner was lying unconsciously on the V.I.P bed. Someone had crashed his car while he was on his way to the company. Song got to know about it around 10 am and just rushed to the hospital with a driver, Lucy went there before Song as he was asleep and also because how worried she sounded. He was sat beside Warner, impatiently waiting for him to wake up so he could yell at him for driving recklessly.
"Who the hell did this to my son?" Song heard a tough female tone and turned to see a woman in her mid-40's, wearing a long beige dress till her ankles.
"Warner." She sighed and her eyes fell on Song.
"Jennifer, stay away from my son." Song heard Cody and saw her mother enter inside with him. Jennifer, he had heard that name before, Warner's real mother.
"Are you doing this to make someone else the heir? You can stoop so low Cody? I can't believe this." Her tone was tough, Song understood she was pointing him out but stayed quiet understanding how she was worried and didn't actually meant to say it.
"Stop talking nonsense! Jennifer, he is my son! Why would I do this?" Cody fumed and Jennifer inhaled deeply keeping her hand on her fore-head, she did not look old just like Song's mother she also looked younger than her age, she was elegant, so Warner inherited his elegancy and toughness from her, Song thought to himself.
"How did this happen?" Song heard and saw Lily her eyes were filled with tears and Song got concerned spotting the bandages on her wrist and finger. She came with June who had an unexplainable expression.
Song got up and let Lily sit as she was crying hard, taking his crutches he stood beside the table.
"Stop her crying." Cody said to Lucy who took a step forward but Jennifer went first and Song scoffed which June seemed to notice because he gave him a plain look. Song couldn't help but notice Cody's anger towards June which finally had burst when he held June by his collar and to his surprise, June didn't move back.
"You did this, didn't you? You were with him last night." Cody's tone was harsh and triggered Song's trauma which was opened again after meeting Owen at the 7-star restaurant, he inhaled deeply fighting back the urge to run out and how he couldn't because of the crutches.
"He left after Warner fell asleep." Lucy imparted; she was scared too of Cody hurting June. Cody jerked June by his arms which were clasped by Cody, the grip seemed tight as Song could see Cody's veins popping out.
"You hurt my son! You did this." Cody yelled and June didn't fight back, he too had tears formed in his eyes.
"Uncle, June was not at the mansion really." Lily imparted still crying but had noticed Cody's rage.
"You failed his car brakes, didn't you? I will just end you here." Cody fumed in his anger and he had still tightly clasped his arm. Why he won't fight back? Song thought.
Song felt the anxiety rushing in but soon vanished a bit when Jennifer pulled June back from Cody's grip. June was still quiet which had raised concern in Song's mind.
"He was not with Warner." Lucy imparted and she seemed shocked by Cody's behaviour as well.
"Can't you fight back?" Jennifer yelled at June which made Song feel sad for him, why she had to yell at him too?
"June." Jennifer called with her eyebrows crinkled and glared at Cody when she saw June couldn't hear her.
"Were you trying to kill him?" Jennifer asked as she opened her phone.
"He is not trustable." Cody scoffed but his eyes showed concern after seeing June not speak.
"I will call you when he gets conscious again, I am sorry about this man." Jennifer imparted drawing out her phone. A pause.
"I have called a cab, go." Jennifer informed and June inhaled deeply walking out of the room as Cody's eyes were on him.
"You shouldn't have let him go." Jennifer ignored Cody and put her hand on Warner's face gently touching the wound on his forehead.
"My baby." her eyes filled with tears as she let them escape by closing her eyes, Song felt sad watching Jennifer that reminded him how Lucy used to cry when he was 5, Owen and Warner knew each-other though Song was mad at Warner for the scene that he let Owen create, it was all vanished, right now he just wanted Warner to open his eyes and talk like he does and also if that meant him taunting Song.
"The patient is doing better, Mr. Williams, you can expect him to wake up." The doctor's words were echoing in Song's ear, it had been one whole day and Warner has not yet woken up, Song had also not slept anticipating that Warner will wake up soon. Jennifer had her hand around Lily's shoulder, Song noticed how Jennifer had been crying from her dried cheeks and watery eye and Lily had been trying hard to not cry again.
"Song, you took your medicine it should be good if you take some rest." Lucy advised, her eyes showed her concern which Song noticed was for both him and Warner, he shook his head still anticipating Warner to wake up.
"Cody might be still in the parking area. You should go take some rest." Jennifer advised and Song paused for a minute, she talked to him. The woman who not much long ago accused him of taking the heir's place, talked to him.
"No. I am alright." Song assured and his legs were already aching, he had a cramp in his fractured leg.
"I will go get some water." Jennifer said and stopped to render a bitter look to Lucy.
"Lily, I will be only one floor away please make sure my son won't get harmed by anyone." Jennifer said now turning to Lily who nodded.
"What does that woman?" Lucy shushed Song with a 'don't say that' look of which he was now used to, he also knew all the actions and what it meant halfway through. He exhaled sharply looking at Warner who moved... He moved, a gasp left Song's mouth and he quickly looked at his mother who noticed it too.
"Warner." Lucy said, her face now was lit up, Song prayed a thank you prayer and saw Warner moving.
Lily also seemed relieved.
He opened his eyes and looked around when his eyes stopped at Lily and Song noticed a trace of guilt on his face which he did not know why.
"You finally opened your eyes." Lily said with a relieved expression.
"I am sorry, Lily." He said and Song looked at Lucy with a same expression that she had on her face, flabbergasted and extremely confused.
"I know you didn't mean to," Lily stopped
"Your mother is here too." She added and Song knew she had changed the topic, Song looked at the door to see Jennifer rush in with no bottle in her hand, didn't she say that she is going to get water? Song thought to himself.
She pulled Warner up into a hug as he hugged her back as well, Song was amused because he was convinced that Warner hated hugs from Cody but with Jennifer, he seemed different, not the Warner he thought he knew.
"Momma, when did you come here?" His voice came out soft but excited just like a baby when he spots his mother.
"I came back yesterday, business meeting things." She answered making her voice soft but still was tough.
"I missed you momma, please come back." Warner said his eyes were turned big as Jennifer sighed.
"I can't baby, I can't." she mumbled.
"How did this happen?" Jennifer asked and now the atmosphere was serious than ever, Song concentrated on Warner.
"I don't know how, but when I tried to pull over the car at the Peralta's it didn't stop, the brake was failed." Warner explained and Song felt a heavy weight on his chest just imagining how terrified Warner must have got, how he would have felt like his whole life was going to shatter with his eyes open, how bad it would have felt to see life showing you that scene. The dark cyclone that could've vanished him inside or swallowed him just like Song's nightmares did but he was not physically hurt.
"I felt like, that was the end." Warner said and Song sighed seeing Warner's confident face turned disheartened.
"Warner, that's not true, you are here with me, Lily." Jennifer consoled Warner whose head hung low,
"I will get you water." Song looked at Jennifer leaving with her eyes filled with tears, it must have been hard for her to hear such words from her son.
"June was not here?" Warner asked looking at Lily with still guilt on his face.
"He was, but he had to leave." Lily answered as Warner nodded.
"He was the one who brought me here, I would have died if he wouldn't have taken me here." Warner said and Song felt his heart pierce hearing Warner speak so casually about such a big word.
"He was with you?" Lily asked and he shook his head as a 'No'.
"I saw his face when he was picking me up, I was half-conscious." Warner said and Song pulled Warner's arm grabbing his attention.
"What?" Warner raised his eye-brow.
"You surely didn't want me to wake up, did you?" He scoffed and Song felt angry but also at the same time relieved to see Warner talking like Warner again, without any hesitation he hugged him and expected Warner to push him away and to his surprise he did not, he instead patted him on his corner of the collar bone, Song was so much relieved that he didn't even move back knowing Warner was patting him on his Scar which did ache more after the fight at the conference.
"I know, you are sad seeing me alive." Warner said still patting and Song knew he was joking. Warner's hand rubbed the scar area and Song couldn't help but make a fist enduring the pain, he broke the hug.
"Song, what is that?" Warner asked in his most serious tone which at the moment Song did not like hearing, his eyes were turned small with a suspicious expression, Song had hid this scar from everyone since past 10 years even Lucy had not seen it yet, he never wanted anyone to see this scar thinking he might erase something that can't be erased. His past that always found a way to haunt him.
He inhaled deeply looking at Lucy who was confused and waited for his answer.
"Nothing." Song said letting out a nervous chuckle and felt relieved watching Jennifer walk in.
"I will go tell Solomon to pick me up." Song mumbled to his mother who did not look satisfied with his answer and Song feared that, with questions like 'what do I tell her if she finds out? Would she be okay or get hurt because of me?' He never got the answers to those because he was convinced that the scar could never be revealed till the last day of his existence.
"Song, is there something bothering you?" Lucy asked in her tender tone and Song forced a smile to keep Lucy away from worrying about him.
"Of course, No, mom." Song said and got up using the crutches, putting on the warmest smile he could.
"Walter is alone at home." Excuse to avoid the interrogation.
"I will walk you down." Lucy said and Song moved back with his heart racing fast seeing Lucy trying to put her hand on the same place where Warner put it.
"Song." Her voice came out serious.
"I can manage to get into the elevator, don't worry mom." Song assured and walked out without looking back.
"I am glad Warner got conscious, but if he talks trash again then we will fight back okay." Solomon made a decision and Song smiled looking at the empty space in the taxi for which Song paid before sitting, Solomon was not wealthy instead he was working shifts for her future, he had a special someone for whom he was willing to fight the world, earning money so she would be comfortable, I want her to feel like a Queen with me Song he had said.
"I thought you wanted to sleep in the hospital, but glad you didn't and avoided the arguments of Williams family." Solomon said his talking voice was sharp like always, Song noticed he was quiet but he wanted to talk to Solomon. The darkness was creeping in again, the scar was now becoming a part of his life and a secret he vowed to never tell which was now coming out, his mother did notice his hesitation and he feared that.
"Song, your-, are you well?" Song looked up quickly to avoid the thoughts he was occupied with and saw Solomon's lips slightly parted with a scared expression.
"What happened?" Song asked and looked out to see cars and bikes wondering what made Solomon have that expression.
"Are you okay?" He asked and Song turned taking a pause, he nodded.
"Yes." He forced a smile and Solomon pointed at his scar.
"Then why are you bleeding Song!" He freaked out and Song noticed that his scar was again bleeding, I hate you for this Warner. Song thought squeezing his eyes.
