Top surgery #2

Top surgery #2 was done a few months after the first one failed. Thankfully, it went much better

After what happened with the first doctor and due to me just feeling uncomfortable around him we switched to a different doctor who apologized for everything I went through and said that she would take good care of me

Surgery #2 day, new hospital. The staff was much better and they're all super compassionate and offered so many accommodations for my anxiety. I got to have an emotional support dog with me from the time it was time to get my IV to right before they wheeled me back. They even gave me laughing gas when they put the IV in and let me keep it on afterwards so I could feel calmer

And almost everyone I met had pronouns on their work tag and had a little rainbow on it saying "LGBTQ+ safe space" I even met another trans female nurse who came out when she was around my age who gave me some tips

When I woke up it wasn't even twenty seconds before my mom was beside me and during the time I was waiting the nurse explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable, she even brought me an ice pop while I waited for my mom

As for recovery the only pain I felt was on the second day and it wasn't even that serious, maybe a seven out of ten at worst. The only thing I couldn't do was walk up the stairs on my own and do physical activity

10/10 experience!
