My tears fall like rain from the sky
I'm really not sure of the reason why
Maybe it's just the emptiness
Loneliness
Sadness
Of you being gone, leaving me
I truly never thought this would be
As I look at your name
Engraved in cold, grey stone
My heart starts to break
Yet, I know I'm not alone
I know you're watching over me
I know your spirit still roams
As my tears start to dry
I feel a chill along my spine
I turn around and see your face
You smile and tell me that it's time
I wipe my eyes and smile back
Then your spirit fades away
All that's left is black
