❔Moon-Kissed❔

You take your hand in mine

And as our fingers intertwine

I can't help the feeling of butterflies

Fluttering around in my stomach

I can't help if my lips curl into a smile

While I think about us together

I can't help but to stare into your eyes

Like onyx gems, they gleam in the light

I can't help my breath leaving at the sight

As we walk down the street tonight

Your hand is in mine, fingers intertwined

Butterflies going crazy, eyesight going hazy

The fog begins to clear so I can see

That the moon is out, full as can be

Beams of silver shine on you and I

On this freezing winter night

As we stop and sit down to take a break

Your hand goes up to caress my face

My eyes go wide for a second, but then flutter closed

We've never actually been this close before

As my mind starts to wonder what to do

You slowly lean forward and whisper,

"Can I kiss you?"
