Otherside in Abhimaan's apartment 

Both the grandfather-grandson were enjoying their dinner. While eating, Abhimaan noticed a peculiar smile was playing on Samir's lips and made him wonder what might be crossing his dadu's mind 

Abhimaan cleared his throat and asked

Abhimaan: Dadu can you please tell me what exactly is playing in your mind ?

Samir: Nothing, just thinking about something 

Abhimaan: And what's that, dadu ?

Samir: Teri shaadi !! 

Upon hearing the mention of his marriage, Abhimaan choked on his food and started coughing. Samir swiftly handed him a glass of water and gently patted Abhimaan's back. 

Abhimaan: Sorry par kya kaha aapne ?

Abhimaan asked after composing himself from the discomfort 

Samir: Maine kaha teri shaadi 

Abhimaan: Dadu, are you even hearing yourself ? 

Samir: I am not a deaf, you dumb man and I think it's the right time for you to get married 

Abhimaan: No, I am not getting married at least in this life 

Samir: Kyu nhi karna tujhe shaadi, us baat ko lekar na ? Toh bhul jaa woh sab. Mai bhi chahta hu mera Abhi apne zindagi mein khush rahe, naaki ese hi puri zindagi pyaar naam ki cheez se bhaagta rahe.

Ek toh tu ghar ke kisi se baat tak nhi karta aur jab mai bhi nhi rahunga tab tu kya karega, huh ? Isiliye mai chahta hu ki teri shaadi ho jaye kisi achi ladki se 

Abhimaan darted his eyes towards his dadu and flared in anger

Abhimaan: Dadu, please don't force me into this thing, maine aapko saloon pehle hi keh diya tha na ki mujhe shaadi nhi karni

Saying this he got up from his seat leaving his food and stormed to his room closing the door with a thud 

Samir: Khotya da puttar !!  Jaisa baap ziddi, thik wesa uska beta. 

Jitna bhi tu ye karle Abhi, shaadi toh tujhe karni hi padegi kabhi na kabhi

Next day morning, Jaanvi went to her office. Before going to the office neither did she talk with her nanu nor did she have her breakfast. But in all between her anger and agitation, she didn't forget to remind Abhay of taking food and medicines on time. 

Abhay: Gussa hai par khayal rakhna nhi bhulti yeh ladki.

Pata nhi kya hoga is bachi ka mere jaane ke baad. Mere janey se pehle hi koi mil jaye meri bachi ko toh hi mujhe shanti milegi

At Malhotra Corporation

Jaanvi entered Abhimaan's cabin with a file which he had asked from her. But then Abhimaan noticed that she was not that usual happy-chirpy Jaanvi; something was bothering her which had turned her mood off. He kept that file aside and asked her 

Abhimaan: Kya huwa hai, Jaanvi?

Jaanvi: Huh !!

Abhimaan: Maine pucha kya huwa hai;  something is bothering you, right ?
