One morning, as Jaanvi headed towards her nanu's room to give him his medicines after breakfast, she stopped in her tracks upon hearing a familiar voice. Turning around, she happily exclaimed and rushed towards that person.
Jaanvi: Dadu !!!
Samir: Haa meri puttar, andar aa sakta hu mai ?
Jaanvi greeted him with a joyful nod and ushered him inside
Jaanvi: Dadu, aap achanak Amritsar kaise ?
Samir: Kyu mai mere dost aur meri Jaanvi puttar se aise hi milne nahi aa sakta kya ?
Jaanvi: C'mon dadu, you know I didn't mean it that way and of course, aap jab chahe tab aa sakte hai hamare yaha.
Acha aap aaye, nanu apne kamre mein hai. Woh aapko dekhenge toh bahut khush ho jayenge
Samir: Thik hai puttar ji, chalo phir
Jaanvi then guided Samir to Abhay's room, and upon seeing his friend, Abhay's face lit up with happiness, as he had been missing him
Abhay: Arey Samir, tu yeha ?
Samir: Haa mai hi hu aur koi nhi
A smile appeared on Jaanvi's face as she looked at those two old men. She then quietly left the room and went outside, not wanting to intrude on their conversation.
Abhay: Yeha kese aana huwa tera, tu toh Delhi jane wala tha ?
Samir: Janey wala toh tha par yeha ek kaafi purane business partner ki poti ki shaadi hai toh wohi attend karne aaya hu.
Waise sach kahu toh shaadi toh bahana hai mujhe toh tujhse aur Jaanvi puttar se milna tha aur phir dono bachon ki shaadi ki baat bhi toh agey badhani hai na
Abhay: Maan gaya woh ?
Samir: Manega kaise nhi aur agar tujhe abhi bhi shaq hai toh tu khud hi puch lena. Aaj sham ko milne aayega tujh se woh
Abhay: Abhimaan bhi aaya hai Amritsar ?
Samir: Aana toh nhi chahta tha par le aaya mai. Ab toh phirse jarur apni pehli patni ke saath betha hoga hotel room mein
Samir retorted nonchalantly, shaking his head, which made Abhay laugh hard. Samir too joined in the laughter
Later that evening, Abhimaan too arrived at Mehra house to meet Abhay, as conveyed by Samir. At that moment, Jaanvi was not at home as she had gone to Chhavi's house. Upon seeing Abhimaan there, Jaanvi's elder aunt and cousin, Tiya were left awestruck by his cold yet charming persona. However, they refrained from saying anything as he's was the guest of the head of the house
Abhimaan: How's your health, nanu ?
Abhay: Abhi toh thik thi aur jab aap aaye yahan toh aur bhi thik ho gaya hu
Abhimaan: Sorry nanu usdin mai hospital se ese hi chala aaya aur uske baad aapse milne tak bhi nhi aaya mai
He apologised sincerely for his inability to come and see Abhay earlier
Abhay: Koi nhi Abhi bete, mai samjhta hu maine aap se jo manga tha us barey mein sochne ke liye waqt chahiye hota hai
Abhimaan: Nanu, I am ready for the marriage
