"What happened?" Disha asked
"Uhh nothing nothing." I replied with a smile.
"Don't lie." She said.
"I'm not." I said.
"Okay okay as you say. But wait." She said.
"What?" I asked.
"You didn't give me your number." She said and I sighed.
"Neither you did." I replied.
"Wait." She said.
And then we both exchanged numbers.
Time skip to evening
Ekansh POV
I dialed Manish's number.
On the call
"Hello sir." Manish said
"Hello. Manish I want to talk you about something." I replied.
"Yes sir please say." He said.
"I am posting you to Xyz branch as a manager. Is it ok with you?" I said.
"But sir why suddenly?" He asked.
"This is for your hardwork and dedication." I replied.
"But sir who will be your assistant?" He asked.
Arghh too many questions.
"I have already hire one." I replied.
"Who?" He asked once again.
"Ms.Surbhi Sharma" I replied.
"What?When sir?" He asked.
"No more questions Manish." I replied controlling my anger.
I cut the call.
Well... Manish had been working with me for 5 years. He is very hardworking. I know he liked xyz branch so much as he was working day and night when that Branch opened. So I thought why not give him reward for his dedication.
My phone rang.
"Hello."
"Hello sir. I want to say thank you for this opportunity." Manish said.
"You deserved that Manish. Now go and pack your belongings." I replied.
"Ok sir. Thank you once again sir." He said and cut the call.
So where I was... Yeah... So I transferred him to that branch. And I appoint Ms.Sharma.. Why? I myself don't know that but maybe I was in need of an assistant and she was capable.

Time skip to evening
Author POV
There was a knock on Ekansh's Cabin.
He smirked knowing who must be on the door.
"Come in." He said.
Surbhi entered after hearing his voice.
"Good evening sir." She greeted.
"Cut this crap. Only two words Ms. Sharma yes or no?" He replied with his arrogant tone.
"Yes." She said.
"Good for you." He exclaimed.
She just nodded.
"Then come to my house from tomorrow morning at 6 and not a minute late. Understood?" He said.
She just hmmed in response.
"I want words Ms.Sharma and I will nit repeat it twice so fit this in your tiny brain." He said.
"Yes sir. May I leave now sir?" She said.
"Yes." He replied.
She left the cabin.
