(Aagaye mere padhaku readers🥸?) Guys, it's a humble request, if you guys understand the dialogues please write the translation in the comments for those who can't understand. I really try my best to give a long chapter and I tried to write translations but trust me it ruined the feel for me and I couldn't write the way I do. So please.
🙏🏻🌻❤ I hope y'all don't find me selfish.

"Thik hai, Abbu. lekin ek baat yaad rakhein, agar ye servant quater mai rahe gi toh mai bhi servant quaters mai he rahunga," Almeer asserted, meeting his father's gaze with determination.

His father's shock was palpable, but Almeer was resolute. He hadn't intended to take such a drastic stand, but seeing his father's willingness to degrade Aynoor by relegating her to the servant quarters was a line he couldn't let slide. He needed to assert that Aynoor was his wife, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their marriage. Allowing emotions and immaturity to dictate his actions would only jeopardize Aynoor's well-being. He couldn't stand by and watch her suffer at the hands of the others in the haveli, only to be discarded later. Aynoor was his responsibility, and he was committed to standing by her.

"Toh ab tum iss ladki k liye apne baap ko zaleel karo gay?" Dilawer Khan's voice carried a weight of hurt, momentarily causing Almeer to waver. But a gentle tug at his sleeve from Aynoor steeled his resolve, hardening his expression into stone.

"Abbu mai jaan se zyada aapse muhabbat karta hu aur aap ki izzat bhi. Isiliye i'm trying to stop you from doing something you'll regret later," Almeer stated, meeting his father's gaze with sincerity. His attention momentarily shifted as Aynoor hurried off, prompting him to follow her, but his father intercepted him.

"Ye ladki tumhari biwi nahi hai. Wani mai aayi ladkiyon ko biwiyon ka darja nahi dete!" Dilawer Khan seethed, his tone laced with anger. Almeer offered a slight smile to his father before retorting, "Kon kehta hai?"

"Hum!!! ye riwayat is gaon mai sadiyon se chal rahi hai. Aur tum bhi yaha rehte ho....." his father's words trailed off as Almeer chuckled and took a seat.

"Bullshit......" he chuckled, "Haan... thik hai maante hongy is gaon k log in riwaayat ko...lekin mai-" His sentence was cut short as Aynoor returned with toothpaste, her presence drawing disgusted looks from Dilawer.

"Apna haath dein, is se jalan nahi hogi.." she asked for his hand, and he remembered that he had burnt his hand. He had successfully taken one of her pains upon himself, and now she was here, treating him. An unknown wave of emotions surged through him.

"Oyee ladki!!!! Daf-" Dilawer's sentence was cut off abruptly. For the first time in his life, his son had disrespected him to such an extent.

"Yaha se bhi laga do saare haath mai jalan horahi hai," Almeer pouted, looking at her. Dilawer Khan's fury reached its peak, and he wanted to unleash his rage upon her skull. She nodded in response, indicating that she understood. There were so many things she wanted to say, but Almeer could sense that it was difficult for her to keep quiet, perhaps because of his father's intimidating presence.
