Each night, Rocket would cry. He normally would try to sleep, but the pain was so bad that he would sleep at 4 A.M. and maybe not get any sleep.
At this point, Zuka has heard him crying, and he has checked on Rocket before.

Rocket normally vented to Sword for comfort, but since he was part of the problem, he had to look for someone else. "Man... I'm lonely... huh?" he told himself, tears still streaming down his eyes. "I'll try to find someone," he whispered before resting his eyes and slowly fading into a form of sleep.

The next day, Rocket thought about who would be the best phighter to talk to. "I'll just vent to the first phighter I see," as he headed outside, he went toward the center of Crossroads. Rocket saw Medkit first and slowly strolled towards him. "Uhm, hey, Medkit," he sighed, "Could I tell you something?" Rocket chuckled nervously, he didn't want to make this conversation awkward with Medkit.
"Okay, but this better not be wasting my time," Medkit says, already annoyed.
"Sword, uhm, cheated on me with Slingshot," Rocket sniffed.
"Who?" Medkit asks.
"S--"
"Cares," Medkit says with a frustrated tone, "I decided to fucking give you a chance to tell me something, and you think I'm interested in relationships? Holy hell, of course not! Go bug a different person instead of wasting my time!"
Rocket tries to hold in his tears as he apologizes, "I-I'm sorry.." He looks down at the ground as Medkit walks away.
Rocket looks for another person to vent to instead. He noticed Vine Staff a couple of steps away, she was talking to her brother, Shuriken. Rocket goes to Vine Staff to tell her the full story instead.
"U-Uhm, Vine Staff? Could I... vent to you? Sorry to interrupt," Rocket's voice was a bit shaky as he tried to hold in his tears, but Vine Staff turned around and looked at him with sympathy on her face.
"Awweh! Of course! Shuriken, I'm going to comfort Rocket, go phight or whatever!" she orders her brother. "Anyways, would you like to talk in private or here?" she asks, with a gentle gaze on Rocket.
"Could we maybe go somewhere private?" Rocket asks, feeling a bit nervous.
"Of course!" Vine Staff leads Rocket to an alleyway that no one normally walks through. "Okay, tell me everything," she softly said.
"So, you know how me and Sword are in a relationship?" Rocket asked.
"Mhm?" Vine Staff replies.
"Well, uhm," Rocket sniffles, trying to hold back his tears, "He cheated on me, with Slingshot."
"Slingshot?" Vine Staff repeats, listening to Rocket's words carefully.
"Slingshot," he repeats back. Rocket looked at Vine Staff, then to the floor.
"You poor thing! Oh my gosh! How could Sword do that!? You two were a perfect match!" Vine Staff hugs Rocket gently.
"I-It happened a couple of weeks ago... I had found them holding hands, and even Sword kissed Slingshot's forehead in the park," Rocket cried.
"Oh my gosh... I'm so sorry! I can't believe Sword would even think of doing that. I thought he was loyal, too," She tried her best to comfort Rocket.
After a couple of minutes of Vine Staff comforting Rocket, it was time for them to depart. "Thank you, Vine Staff, for comforting me," Rocket still sniffed, his tears drying.
"It's fine, you can vent to me at any time! Don't be scared," Vine Staff reassured him.

After that, Rocket felt important again.
