Why can't we cry?
When our heart felt heavy and we're sick of lies,
when our bucket of emotions flows over by
and there's no room left to hide.
Why can't we cry?
When the chirruping bird within is slowly dying,
when we have enough of fake smiles
and the lullaby no more calming our mind.
Then why can't we cry?
When the voices in our head keep raging high,
our heart aches but we just sigh.
When words are not enough to express the storm in us.
Then why can't we cry?
When our world is falling apart ,
darkness engulfing the soul and heart.
When facade of being seems at peace yet mayhem in us too much to seize.
Then it's okay to get down on knees and just scream.
Let your tears slide down your cheeks,
cause sometimes crying can make you feel at ease.
