Chapter 19

Amika's Pov
...

Lucas and I left his parents house for the date, which he hadn't told me about yet...I like suprises but suspense...not so much

"Come on just tell me....." I begged Lucas for like the 1000th time now

He just chuckled
"Don't worry, you'll know when we get there..." he said while driving

It had been atleast half an hour since we left home....Myra didn't seem to mind that we were going out but she did say that we should come back home soon

Her and Jasmine seem to be really close, the boys, Sammy and Jeremy are really naughty kids, but they're somehow well mannered at the same time

It was hot and humid outside, and since Lucas was driving really fast, I didn't want to open my window because I was wearing a skirt

I did not want to flash any drivers with glaring images

So he turned on the AC in the car. About 15 minutes later he told me to close my eyes, which I did, and he moved the car somewhere

There were alot of voices, specifically children's voices

"Open your eyes..." He said. I opened my eyes and the sight that I was met with made my eyes start to water

We were at Disneyland....I've always wanted to come here as a kid

" I remembered you told me that you've always wanted to come to Disneyland so here we are...." Lucas said

I hugged him tightly
" You...You... remembered that I wanted to come here alot as a kid...." I said with teary eyes
" Of course...you mean alot to me, so I want to atleast make you happy because you make me happy..."

"Thank you for bringing me here Lucas...." I said sincerely
" You don't have to thank me, from now on you and Myra are my priority, so I want to make you both happy..."

Lucas's words gave me butterflies

"Let's go shall we..." Lucas said while offering his hand to me

I grabbed it as we walked

"Where do you want us to go first...." Lucas asked me

Hmm, there were so many good options, but first we went to some clothing store, which was specifically disney merchandise

Lucas told me to pick out whatever I wanted while he got something for the kids and the girls

I picked out the Minnie mouse ears and hoodies for us both. When I gave them to him, he paid for everything he'd gotten, then when we got outside he asked me why I got two of the same hoodie

" One for you and one for me...." I said
"Hmm, if you picked it out it must look good, here put on these...." he said giving me the ears

They felt so snug on my head, almost like a glove, it was like the perfect size for my head
"Where should we go now...."
"Let's go to.....the Ferris wheel...."
"Sure...."

...

We were now sitting in a ferris whell carriage that was so high above which was almost making me regret my decision of coming up here

On instinct I wrapped my hand around Lucas's arm and squeezed it

" Don't worry, I'm here....just don't look down....or forward...." he reassured me

I put my head on his shoulder instead, and closed my eyes, the ride felt 10 times better now

"Found a position you like..." Lucas asked me with a smile
