Some of you asked for an update on me and your wish is my command!

As for me, well I don't like to brag but... I've accomplished world dominance. Yes, I know this might come as a shock to you, I seem so nice and joyful it doesn't seem like I would do something so daring. But I have and in such a cleverly subtle way that no one evens knows what I've accomplished!

You know and have been supporting me for years so don't worry, you are grandfathered into my team of advisors.

And can you blame me for taking over the world, it was bound to happen, after all I did DYE MY HAIR PINK!

That's right my beautiful intelligent reader! I have stepped into my super villain era!

I feel like we all should have seen this coming. I did after all inflict numerous pain and distress to characters I claimed to love. I feel like the signs were there.

So yeah, pink hair! Am I living a quirky main character life?

I want to say yes but sadly there are less bad boys, wild adventures, and general teen fiction clichés in my life then my hair suggests that there should be.

Only teen fiction cliché in my life is the amount of beaches I've been to. Coming back to San Diego means beaches. Though it's still too cold to spend much time there without a hoodie. But still walking along it I get to dramatically reflect on life and wonder what the future holds.

So in this small way I am living my quirky main character life. Plus...

PLOT TWIST!!! I GOT TWO TATTOOS!!

Show of hands, who thought I'd never get a tattoo! 🙋‍♀️

🙋‍♀️ Yes I'm adding my hand to that collection because I didn't think I would. I mean I literally wrote an author's note saying I wouldn't and everyone knows once you put something in writing it can never be unwritten.

Except... well except for this since I said I wouldn't get a tattoo and now I have two. But in my defense I did think about it for a few months before I got them.

As my wise sister Murph (murphnturf) said, there are a lot of internal scars that can't be seen and the tattoos are an external representation of the things unseen.

My sisters and I all got the matching tattoos because it's a reminder that even though last year was rough we made it through.

The three dots represent the three of us, Grace, me and Murph. Since I'm the middle sister, I'm the middle dot.

The seven is a reminder that God can use anything, including a random band of seven Korean men, to get you through the hardest times.

So yeah these are the biggest updates to my life of late.

As far as writing and my creative burn out... well it's burning strong and one day I hope it will burn itself out. (Hehe word play!)

I'm reading again so that's nice. I'm rereading Harry Potter and I freaking love that series! I'm taking the mental break it seems my brain is demanding of me and well... it sucks! I miss you. I miss my characters. I MISS MASON! But there's no fighting this for now.

So *sighs* It's world domination for me for the time being or until my natural hair color comes back and I resort to my old odd joymoment self!
