KAIA LET OUT a yawn she sat sipping at her iced coffee on the bus the next morning. She was exhausted and was struggling to not let it show as she had taken almost an hour that morning doing her makeup in order to cover up the horrible bags that had overtaken the undersides of her eyelids. She sat alone with Aiden and Ben behind her and she could hear Aiden rambling on about something to Ben, the dark haired boy not replying, as always, not even nodding along since he was practically passed out against the window as the blond spoke as they pulled up to their next stop, which Kaia knew to be Ashlyn's.
Kaia perked up a bit as she caught sight of the ginger boarding the bus, taking her regular seat beside the dark haired girl. "Hey." She smiled as Ashlyn took her bag off and set it at her feet. "I got you a donut." She told her as she handed the girl a strawberry frosted donut.
Ashlyn blinked, though wasn't all that surprised as it was a rather common thing for Kaia to bring her all kinds of food in the morning as the black haired girl was aware of Ashlyn's habit of being late and not eating breakfast or packing lunch. She appreciated it a lot more than she let on as she nodded towards the girl, muttering a small thank you as she sat down beside her.
"Hey Ash." Aiden greeted her as Ashlyn's head fell back against the bus seat as Kaia smiled at her as she took another sip from her coffee. She also had an energy drink packed in her lunch box as she's taken up any form of caffeine or energizer to get her through the day.
