All This Little Things ~ Poetry

Healing

Healing is not at all easy when it happens,
a deep laceration that reopens until it hurts even more,
a pain that burns inside and sinks into total darkness,
a fear that doesn't fade and becomes a real nightmare,
a perpetual anxiety that torments even the little things,
an obsession with control over your body and appearance that takes you to a point of no return,
Perhaps for these there will not be an immediate and definitive solution, but one can heal knowing that there is a tomorrow to live.
