Y/N

Is dating a man really that necessary? Like for what? Sex? What does it have to do with dating? Am I against it?

No, not at all. People can choose to date and have fun, but my point was,  'dating should not be on the top of your priority list'.

"Y/n! You need to check this out…god this guy literally has written a poem for you"

I pressed my lips a little too hard and kissed in the air to check my lipstick shade, looking at the mirror in front of me in the girls washroom of our university.

I looked at her reading through the pink paper, the colour choice had me cracked up a bit. Not because I hated pink, I loved pink. What made me crack up was this stereotypical thinking of boys that every girl loves pink colour so let's just use it to get into their pants.

"Let me guess, he has written about me being so beautiful, so original and there's no girl like me in this world, right?" I waited for Lia and the moment she gave me a shocked expression, I smiled. I knew it.

"I mean I appreciate them and find it sweet when they write about me but isn't it obvious I'm not interested in dating? Some think I'm being rude, I'm just saying no."

"You're not rude, it's just the problem with this species aka men" Maya exclaimed typing aggressively on her cell phone and god knows who she was texting like that. She had some past life issues with men.

"Yeah of course! Says the one who might be into girls"

"Even if I'm into girls, I won't come after you so chill babes." Maya looked up and gave a flirty wink to Lia that made her gag up. These two can be too much.

But I couldn't help but agree with the fact that if Maya came out to be interested in girls it wouldn't be news to us. I had known them from my high school and I hadn’t seen her interested in any guy.

Of course random hook-ups were uncountable but nothing was too serious for her. She didn't even date any girl either. Guess she had some different plans and I liked her for that so much, she was the coolest among us.

She had the best fashion sense, with head to toe covered in brands screaming dark feminine aura and making her so powerful. I wouldn't be ashamed to admit that when I met Maya in my high school, I had my first gay encounter. I never thought anyone could be so beautiful. That was the reason why I approached her to talk and we became friends.

"C'mon guys we're in our last year of college and we need to go to our annual college dance. WE NEED MEN!" Lia, short heighted brunette with golden eyes and the cutest among us. Though most of the time she sounded stupid, just like now that we need men and bla bla, she had the heart of an angel.
