A couple days have gone by, Paige's black eye is fully healed and the girls are getting ready to leave for their away game at Minnesota for Paige's homecoming game.
Azzi and Paige wake up around 10 and make their way to the practice facility at 10:30 for a team breakfast before practice.
"Paige come do this TikTok bread review with me" KK says as she's in front of the bread station.
Paige, Ice, and KK are all trying the bread for KK's TikTok as the rest of the team is eating their breakfast in peace.
"How can they have so much energy in the morning?" Caroline asks the rest of the girls who are sitting at the table eating.
"I have no idea" Nika says taking a bite of her omelette
"Me neither, especially Paige because she isn't a morning person" Azzi adds
"It's 10:30 it's not that early" Ines says
"Yea but Paige and I woke up a half hour ago, so to her it's early" Azzi explains
"Plus we all know Paige needs her beauty sleep" Nika laughs which makes everyone else laugh as well. The team has learned not to wake up Paige from a nap or she will be grumpy the rest of the day.
"What is all the hype over the bread though?" Caroline asks confused looking at the trio doing the TikTok
"Girl who knows" Nika says
"I kinda wanna try it" Azzi mutters making Caroline look over at the girl sitting next to her
"If you try it, I'll try it" Caroline says which makes both Azzi and her get up to go try the bread the others are obsessing over.
"Wait KK show Azzi and Carol" Paige tells the freshmen as she moves the camera so it now has the two juniors in frame
Both Azzi and Caroline take a bite out of the roll and look at each other before looking back at the camera
"That bread good ain't it Azzi" Paige says from next to her in frame
Instead of answering Azzi starts doing a dance with Caroline, that KK loves as she records it for the tiktok.
After the bread review and breakfast, the girls start getting ready for practice and head down to the locker room to change into their practice gear.
This is also the time the players see Janelle to get any injuries looked at or wrapped, so after Paige is done changing she gets her thumb wrapped again since it's still not fully healed.
"I can't wait to pass out on the flight after this" Caroline says as she leans her head on KK's shoulder next to her
"You and me both girly pop" KK says leaning her head on top of Caroline
"Guys I'm bringing my nintendo switch so we can play some games at the hotel" Azzi says to the team as she puts her hair in a bun
"I'm going to destroy y'all in whatever game we play" KK says looking at Azzi
"In your dreams Arnold" Azzi says
After practice the girls grab their dufflebags and backpacks once the equipment staff makes sure they have everything packed and they head onto the bus on their way to the airport in their navy blue team matching sweats.
"You excited to go home P?" Nika asks the girl as they wait to board their flight
"Yea, I'm happy to see all my family and play against Amaya" Paige says smiling, happy that she gets to reconnect with her old high school teammate
