MARTYR'S HOMECOMING

Our Indian soldiers were returning to India,
With dreams in their eyes,
With satisfaction that they can meet their families,
Returning to their cottages.

Nothing haunted them now,
But the fear of being dead,
But after else, what they left their incomplete dreams with stable eyes,
Tears in their eyes.

But what a satisfaction mingles in their heart,
The reason was that they died for their nation,
Had they ever wondered that these strange things could happen to them?

They died for their county,
They died for their nation,
They died for their people,
They died for their land.
