Unexpected mate

Chapter 17:No he cant do that!

We were inside the house on the couch, looking at the king and queen cuddling, they remained silent for a while before speaking. 

"Sophia I know you did a little research on me and what I'm capable of, and from what I can smell you and your brother already completed the mating bond."

"One of you has to go; it's been that way for over 300 years, and it will continue to be that way."

"But you can't; why would you want to destroy something as beautiful as a mate's bond?"

"BECAUSE THAT'S HOW IT IS AND WILL STAY!"

I couldn't believe what was coming out of his mouth, and his sister just stared at the ground.

"How could you let him do this? He's your mate, he kept you hidden from the rest of the world, and he killed one of our most sacred of laws."

"It's not in my hands, yes it's wrong, but I have to stay by his side no matter what because he's my friend, and that's just how it works i-I'm sorry."

Even his mate didn't like it, but she had to stay by his side because defying him in any way is not love, but control!

He's had her under his control for who knows how long. 

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HOW COULD YOU KILL THEM DO YOU HAVE ANY SHAME THE OTHERS WERE INNOCENT."

I cupped my hand over my mouth, unable to believe what I had just said, and just a few seconds later, I was pressed against the wall with his arm against my throat, I looked into his eyes they were gold showing the color of power and a killer. 

He was yanked off me by Blake who's eyes were black, he held the king to the floor, I quickly got up from where I was on the floor and went to him whispering soothing words in his ear.

He closed his eyes and opened them again, and his eyes returned to their normal color. 

He looked me in the eyes as if asking if I was okay, I nodded, and he walked away from the king, never leaving my gaze.

"You will regret the day you ever did that, you worthless little pup!" said the king, his face red with rage.

He walked out quickly, his mate trailing behind him, still staring at the floor. She looked terrified of him in every way, and I couldn't help but be terrified myself.

 Nobody knew what he would do, and the man who fought him never lived to tell the tale.

What did he intend to do?

"Sophia, are you okay?" that one question kept running through my head. I was scared, like piss myself wet scared.

"Y-yeah just... " I looked up and into Blakes eyes, instantly relaxing.

I couldn't find the words to express how terrified I was.

"I'm sorry he touched you; I'll personally cut off his balls and feed them to him."

I couldn't help but laugh; he wasn't a tough enough person, but he tried.

"What's the big deal?"

"You can never try to be tough because it's just not you."

"Hey, I can't be tough, look grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr."

I laughed even harder at that; you should have seen his face, it was priceless. "Sure you are," I said.

Even though everyone was watching, I gave him a quick kiss on the lips and walked up to my room. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.
