"Does Xander know about this dance?" Sara asked. Neil was getting punch so Sara was sitting with me in the back of the room.
I answered, "No. I didn't tell him."
My stomach was turning.
"Why!" Sara said it like a statement. "You love him! You were from the same planet! Xander is the only one on Earth that can touch you without burning."
Butterflies.
"Look I jus..."
"Get out of it." Sara snapped. She got up and left.
I stared as she left.
I got up and ran put the door.
I cried all the way home.
