CHAPTER-48

After dev left the place manik was thinking about all the possibilities to keep nandini away from danger ....he knew he has to act fast or else something terrible can happen... right now he cannot even contact to aryaman as he know his phone will be tracked....and dev's hideout will be best and safest place for them.....

His thoughts came to halt when he felt nandini hugging him from behind ,,,manik smiled

MANIK- slept well

nandini nodded from back rubbing her nose on him....

MANIK- so how is the place ...are you comfortable

NANDINI( coming in front of him)-Manik why are we here  and this place gives me a lot of negative thoughts...

MANIK- nothing to worry Nandini... I am here only

NANDINI- why are we here ...why cannot we just go home

MANIK(took a deep breath )- nandini actually from past few days there was threat and I kind of knew that something is going to happen on musicana  but some unexpected events turned up that is why i was injured and by the was if i was not attacked also we would have come here...

NANDINI- how did dev help you

MANIK- he knew the plan and maybe i trusted him with you..

NANDINI- when is this going to end manik

MANIK- nandini trust me i am going to solve this very soon...accha leave all that aren't you hungry 

NANDINI- yes very much

MANIK- come lets prepare something 

With that both moved towards kitchen nandini sitting on the slab and manik cooking for her and nandini was telling him how she felt winning musicana and manik said that he is really happy to see her win....  with little sweet talks they completed their breakfast and was sitting cosily in the bedroom...

MANIK- so nandini tell me about yourself 

NANDINI- about me 

MANIK- yes about you ....your childhood memories ....likes..... dislikes everything ....actually the matter is we have two days all for our self so why not use it 

NANDINI- i don't remember my childhood manik

MANIK- what 

NANDINI- yes manik my dad said i had an accident when i was 10 years old that time i lost my memory and i don't remember anything related to my childhood

MANIK- what kind of accident nandini

NANDINI- i don't know manik i just know so much my dad doesn't like talking about that topic....ok leave my story tell me about you...

MANIK-nandini i am really sorry i didn't know about this 

NANDINI- no manik that's ok now come on tell me about yourself 

MANIK- about me there is nothing interesting about me ...from childhood i had only one dream that is to become a police officer i worked hard to get that post and one step higher post than my dad....my life is boring but i enjoyed it throughly ....and i did  not have time for other fun..

NANDINI- manik if your job was your life then why did you quit it 

manik was numb for a minute his whole past came in front of his eyes and his eyes had tears ...nandini was shocked to see tears in his eyes  and scolded herself for the stupidity

NANDINI- manik i am really sorry please calm down 

manik took a deep breath and held her hand and made her look into his  and his eyes depicted a lot of emotions 

MANIK- my mom was killed because of me ....

Saying this he moved out ....nandini was numb she didn't know how to console him or what to say......when she went in search of him she found him near the window he was looking no where but his actions told her that he is restless and wants to let out his anger ..she didnot say anything just went and hugged from behind ...manik became stiff for a minute ....after sometime he pulled her roughly and huuged from and his his face in her neck 

MANIK- i really miss her a lot nandini....today just because of me she is not with me...i was really helpless at that time everything happened in front of my eyes and i coulden't save her ..i am such a bad son.....

With that he was letting his tears out....

NANDINI(cupping his face)- no manik nothing please don't cry ...right now if your mom was here she would have near let you cry please don't make her sad...

manik nodded and hugged her again ......

MANIK- sorry i sho....

she did not let him complete her sentence 

NANDINI- no manik crying in front of me is not  wrong  so i won't tell anyone that you cried ...nandini promise ....

this  brought smile on his face 

NANDINI- now let's have some fun manik

MANIK- what

NANDINI- let's watch a movie

MANIK- ok...as you say madam 

nandini laughed and both moved towards the living room to watch the movie ....both spend a lovely time together ....after watching the movie both manik and nandini was cuddling each other arms out of no where nandini asked ....

NANDINI- what are we manik

manik stared at her in confused expression

NANDINI- i mean like what relation we share i am so confused .....i feel so happy if i am with you .....i feel out of the world and sometime i feel all this is just a dream and nothing more ....and i feel really scared manik what if we go far from each other and......

Her words were left incomplete when manik fused his lips with hers....and they were lost in their own world

ON THE OTHER SIDE
MURTHY MANSION

Aryaman along with other reached the MANSION and was really worried about manan

Aryaman told them take care and left the mansion

Soon he received a call from dev stating that manan are safe
