Lost in the traffic,

Stuffed in the attic,

Tricked into poison,

This wasn't my decision.

So many traffic,

I'm covered in plastic,

Giving us away,

A wrong Intuition.

A future we cannot hold,

And so far I'm getting cold,

Tainted shadows over my body,

up and down,

all so afraid,

we don't make a sound,

so to wish that we could just turn around...

Maria call to me...

I don't want my dreams to be stolen from me...

I want to have what I had...

But I can't see the light,

I'm not at home tonight...

I'm lost in this atmosphere,

I wonder how much I'm up for sale,

Why doesn't anyone help?

There's no voice left to yell...

No more mommy or daddy?

No more joy of being happy?

And all the others with sad faces like mine?

What kind of creature would sell us like a pile of meat for a dime?

Being touched by many in pain of being alive,

But why us...

Why?...

I'm just a baby,

Take me away for a good life,

Save me... while I'm still alive.

I personally never heard of this issue, but it is like a slap in the face to me.

I mean, i worry about such trivial things. I worry that i'm not picked up at the right time. Or soccer practice was terrible.

And then I read something like this... And... I feel stupid. Naive. Ignorant.

I don't know about you, but I hate the feeling.

The amazing authoress Cindy (Ch1ld0fCynt4r) says:

I want people to be more aware of this problem that's circling the planet, they kidnap kids and adults and sell them to the biggest bidder, it also includes them to sell their organs, not just prostituting them. It's very sad, and i wish we could do something about it, this is all i could think of so I hope you understand the cause I want to fight for. oh and just in case, the maria i mentioned in the poem is a girl who was kidnapped for trafficking and was killed. Her mother made the Maria de Los Angeles foundation to help beat human trafficking, they have been able to save 400 people in two years, and they provide i think home for the victims, protection, psychological help and more.
