For sure, her first and foremost intention is to humiliate them in front of all and Shivaay knew that well. Although he was preparing himself mentally but its not possible to tolerate all this
As his eyes were roaming here and here, an announcement caught his attention
"Ladies and Gentlemen, here comes the lady of the evening, Ms Anika Singhania" the host said 'Ms' instead of 'Mrs' and it irked him a bit.. But arent they divorced? It was his decision at the end of the day. Otherwise they would have been living happily and propably, a new member might have joined the family. Alas... It is just his hope now
Anika descended the stairs and his Kanji eyes forgot to blink for a min or two.. He was looking at the epitome of beauty who was claded in a golden yellow dress and a slit below through which her toned legs are revealing. This turned the hormones inside him On Yellow was the color he hate the most but she carried it so well that it has turned one of his fav colors within a second.. (Thoda jyada ho gaya)
"Shivaay, mai kaisi lag rahin hun?" Anika asked with hope
He glanced at her and his expression changed
"Ye kya ghatiya color pehna hai Anika.. U look like shit. I mean like yellow kaise koi pehen sakta hai. Its yuck" he said without knowing that his harsh words hurt her so much but controlling her tears, she maintained the calm posture
"I know apko yellow pasand nahi but this kurti is so gorgeous.. Just see" she insisted
"I never thought ki tumhari choice aisi hai" he said finally and left the room leaving behind a wife who has been dying since past one month to get her husband's love and attention
Their eyes latched and she smirked a bit.. Their stood Aryan who was asking for her hand and she proudly placed her delicate ones into his but her eyes were on the man she loathe
Something inside burned in Shivaay.. Aryan took the mic and said
"I am privileged to get the most beautiful lady of the evening as my partner" a smile replaced her smirk and after their meet, this was the first genuine smile Shivaay saw.
"Even I am super lucky to have you who has supported me all through my bad days" she eyed on to her husband. He turned his face elsewhere.
"Bhojai kitni sundar lag rahi hai na Omkara ji?" Gauri exclaimed
It was hard for Om as well to picturize Anika in such revealing dress but time is everything.. If it can chnge her character this much, then dressing isnt a great deal.
"I hope you all enjoy the party.. Specially my dear Oberois. Ise apni hi party samjho" she pointed in our direction and here goes her first humiliation.. Some felt pity for them, few laughed at their condition while the others were unaffected by their existence.
As the music played, Aryan sat on his knees.
"May I have the honour to dance with my lady?" he asked and that moment itself, Shivaay wanted to beat him black and blue

Soon all the couples joined the duo with their respective partners. Anika's view got blocked and somewhere down her heart, she feared the consequence if Shivaay have it too much.. He has no control over himself after he is drunk. Why does she care? She doesnt love him now? Probably its bcz she feared that he would create a scene. Yea.. Thats it.

"Aryan, mujhe washroom jana hai. Please excuse" saying this she left the party hall in search of him.. There her eyes spotted him in a terrible condition moving towards his room which is now hers
