"Stay in Oberoi Mansion alongwith us"
Everyone was shocked and Anika was even beyond that.
"Stay here till you find a house and your family comes back" he added
"Thanks but no thanks" she said with a pinch of arrogance
"Please" Jhanvi said and Anika felt that it won't be really a good move to turn down a lady of her mother's age
"Ok but on one condition" she chipped, "Aryan will also stay with me. I need him" her words made Shivaay groan inaudibly
"No issues beta"
"Aap Anika bulayenge to bhi chalega" she said
"Par mai beta bulana pasand karungi"
"Aur hum bhojai" Gauri was more than excited that her bhojai is going to stay with them. Somewhere down her heart, she believed that Shivaay and Anika might end up together
Anika smiled awkwardly
Shivaay signalled the servants to take her luggage back
"You can take my room, I will shift to the guest room" Shivaay's words made their eyes popped out in surprise.
"No need. I am a guest here" Anika said
"Ok"
The family members proceeded to their respective rooms

"Kya Shivaay bhaiya aur bhojai phirse saath aa jayenge?" Gauri asked Om hopefully
"See Gauri, jo kuch bhi hua, I dont think aisa kuch bhi hoga" Om said
"Kaise negative aadmi ke saath meri shaadi huyi hai, zindagi me optimism rakhna hi nahi hai unko" she blurted and went out of the room leaving behind Om to chuckle at his beloved wife's actions
Meanwhile, Shivaay was sipping his espresso and thinking about the events of the day. In one moment, she entered like a storm and destroyed their family, their reputation and in another moment, she left everything behind. She is unpredictable. His legs led him to her room but he was unsure whether to go inside or not.
knock knock
"Come in" she said
As Shivaay entered, she changed her body posture and smiled. He sat down near her on the bed but words never came out
"Kuch kehna chahte hai?" she asked
This lady can read his mind even after so much of hatred, he thought
"WO... mai woo.. tha. I mean.." he was fumbling while she placed her hands on his and assured him
"I wanted to thank you personally for everything you did today" he began.
"I know i have been a jerk in the past or better say a beast jisne tumhari life hi barbaad kar di but now wanna rectify all my mistakes and be a good man. Jab tum chali gayi thi, I won the game of revenge lekin apni family se haar gaya tha. Tut gaya tha, Ma aur bhaiyo ke pyaar ke bina aur tumhare pyaar ke bina bhi" she gulped down the lump formed in her throat hearing that
"I got everything from childhood and so took it for granted but now I have realized how wrong I had been. Sorry kaafi nahi hai, na meri sorry tumhara wo dardnaak saal sudhaar sakti hai aur naa hi humara baccha lauta sakti hai" he choked in between and her eyes too welcomed fresh tears
"Mai apni galti sudhaarna chahta hun Anika, mai ek accha insaan banna chahta hun" he sobbed harder
"Will you help me? Please, I can beg you for that"
Without saying a word, she hugged him tight and they both cried in each other's arms.
"I am sorry Anika, mujhe maaf kardo" he pleaded
She kissed his forehead after breaking the hug, "Mai apki madad zarur karungi jab tak yaha hun" she said and he tightly pulled her for a bone crushing hug

"The dinner looks yum Bhabhi" Rudy chipped to Gauri and she smiled broadly.
Shivaay looked towards Anika and their eyes met for a cute little eyelock. She smiled and Shivaay too.
"Ye lo Anika" Aryan said who sat beside her much to Shivaay's irritation
The dinner time was fun and happiness was revealed on their faces. Aryan too got mixed up easily with Rudra and Om but Shivaay was in no mood of talking to him
Soon after, all were seating in the dining room and chitchatting on some random topic
'Seems like Anika is getting back to normal' Shivaay thought looking at her smile on her plum inviting lips.
Aryan excused them to attend a call and after 5 mins, he came back rushing and with a tensed look.
"Anika, we need to talk. Thoda urgent hai"
Anika understood the depth of the situation and they went to her room
"Kya hua Aryan?"
"Actually......(muted convo)"
Jhanvi was happy and said, "Aakhir ye badla khatam hua"
"Mera badla baaki hai. The game is still on" a person spoke
