i follow the railroad tracks overgrown with moss
balancing on its rusty rails,
hoping to find somewhere newi've been following it since childhood
hoping for it to lead me somewhere new—
a place where the skies are never grey,
somewhere cliché like in fairytalesbut i always end up back in my backyard
fenced off from the woods
no matter how long i travelbut i still try
even when i end up with cuts and bruises
from constantly falling in rublei guess i never learn
