Betrayed

Chapter One

I am Katana Artemis Hera Jackson, daughter of Poseidon.  And this is my story.

I was sitting in my cabin, going through my photo album when I heard screaming. I immediately got up and ran out, Riptide in my hand.

On the top of the hill, next to Thalia's pine tree, (Amazing cousin by the way.), and there was a boy around fifteen years old being chased by a monster. Not just any monster, the Minotaur.

I ran on top of the hill, stabbing the Minotaur in the chest. The monster turned into golden dust.

I turned to the boy,"The name's Katana. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, uh--"

"Blade Axel." The boy said, holding out his hand and I shook it,"What's Camp Half-Blood?"

I put my right arm around his shoulder, guiding him to the Big House,"Camp Half-Blood is a safe place for people like you and me. It's a dangerous world out there."

"What do you mean 'people like us'?" Blade asked.

I smiled,"We are not ordinary humans, Blade." Oh, I remember the days when I was finding out that I was a demigod,"This camp is for demigods or half-bloods, we like to call ourselves."

"A demigod..... does that mean a child of a human and a god?"

"Yep."

We reached the Big House,"Go in there, the director and activities director should be there. They'll explain everything." I said.

"Thank you." Blade said, then he was claimed. The symbol of Ares floated above his head.

I bowed.

"W-what are you doing?" He asked.

"You have been claimed by your father. You are the son of Ares, the god of war." I said.

"Like, the Greek God?" Blade asked and I nodded.

"Mr.D and Chiron will explain everything to you." I said.

"Thanks again!" Blade said and went inside.

I heard another scream and I ran towards Thalia's Pine tree again. I found a girl, no more than the age of fourteen, was being chased by some type of monster that I can't think of the name right now.

I charged the monster and quickly killed it off. I turned to the girl and smiled.

"I'm the daughter of Zeus." Was all she she and stomped off towards the Big House without saying another word.

Talk about rudeness. I shrugged and went back to my cabin.

It's been a few months since that girl, who later I learn her name was Lisa Sparks, caused trouble. What I mean is that she'll do something, and then blame it on me. The bad thing? Almost everyone believes her.

Only Blade, Chiron, Mr. D, the satyrs, and Nico believe me. (Thalia is with the Hunters, so if she finds out, she'll most likely be on my side.)
