chapter 9 ~ the truth. about everything.
i blushed when i seen her. standing there in shock and . . . something else. something that i couldnt make out.
"Oh! im so sorry! i was going to tell yo that breakfast is done. but i see your not ready. sorry!" she said turning away
i pulled my head under the covers, emmbarresed.
"It's okay mom. im sorry for that. it wont happen again." eric said.
i frowned. i wanted it to happen again. i felt so diffrent around him and i wanted to know why. i have never felt so sucure. so in love with anyone befor. it felt so right to be near him in any way possable. every way possable.
"No. it ok on. are you two hungrey?"
right on cue my stomic growled and i giggled.
"yes Mary. d love some food." i said from under the covers
"Then come on down. and eric? i think its time you told her the truth. the truth about everythng." she said
what? the truth? about what?
"About what." i asked shakily.
"Ok. this might be hard to hear." he said.
i got out from underneath the covers.
"Bells . . . im not . . . human. im not a vampire. or a werewolf of a witch. im simply a imortal. i cant die. i cant age. im stuck. and so is my mother. and . . . well you will be too. because you are my soul mate. and im yours too. i know this is alot to take it.
"so . . . your immortal."
"yes."
"so is your mom."
"yes."
"Im your soul mate and your mine."
"Yes."
"You cnt die or age."
"yes."
"and im going to be immortal."
"Yes."
"Wow.
"I know. it had to be said. its the truth. im sorry i didnt tell you sooner." he said
"i dont know what to say.
"dont be mad please. i love you. i cant bare to make you unhappy." he begged.
"im not mad. i . . . think i understand. at least the soul mate thing. because i feel so . . . complete with you near. i get that part. and im not mad.
"Good. then how about breakfast for the human."
i smiled and nodded. that sounds so wierd to hear. but it sounds so right.
