As the first light of dawn filtered through the dense forest surrounding the cabin, long shadows cast by the emerging sunlight seemed to murmur ominous warnings. Iñigo, still grappling with the revelation of his identity and the aftermath of recent events, stood at a critical juncture, not just in his own journey but in the ancient struggle they were now part of.

Carlos, his father, always the embodiment of resilience and enigma, displayed a rare hint of vulnerability as he prepared for the impending confrontation. "Iñigo, you must stay here," he commanded, his voice carrying both authority and a plea as he revealed a secret passageway hidden beneath the cabin's floor. "The danger outside is too great, and we can't risk falling into their trap."

The protest was swift and fierce from Iñigo's lips. "I won't just hide while you face them alone! I need to stand with you."

Observing his son, the stark resemblance between them underscored by their shared resolve, Carlos's expression softened momentarily with paternal pride before hardening once more. "If we lose you, everything we've fought for—your mother's sacrifice, our hopes—it all vanishes. We can't let that happen," he implored, the crack in his voice betraying the emotional turmoil beneath his stoic exterior.

"How can I do nothing, knowing I have the power to help? What if there's another guardian out there, alone and afraid?" Iñigo's argument, impassioned and sincere, hung in the air, a testament to his bravery and the legacy of both his parents.

With a heavy sigh, Carlos placed a firm hand on Iñigo's shoulder, his gaze imploring understanding. "Listen, if I'm not back within ten minutes, escape through this passage. Take the Immortal Data; it's crucial for you and any remaining guardians. It's what your mother wanted," he instructed, emphasizing the device's significance.

Reluctantly, Iñigo agreed, the device in hand suddenly feeling like the weight of their entire mission. As Carlos closed the entrance behind him, Iñigo was left in the dimness, every noise a harbinger of potential disaster.

Then, chaos erupted above, and the sounds of a struggle reached Iñigo, setting his nerves on edge.

The entryway flung open abruptly, revealing Carlos, bloodied but pressing forward, ushering a young woman with an unmistakable air of resilience—another guardian—into the passageway.

"Who are you?" Iñigo started, but the urgency of their situation allowed no time for answers. The albino man, a figure from their darkest fears, appeared at the threshold, his intentions deadly clear.

Carlos, with a last look at his son, whispered fiercely, "Protect the data, find the others. You are my greatest pride. I am sorry we had no time left. All I did, being absent in your life, was for your own good. Remember that." Then, sealing the passage, he faced his adversary with a declaration of defiance, "You'll have to get through me first."

Muffled sounds of the confrontation filled the tunnel, a painful reminder of the sacrifice being made.

"Who are you?" Iñigo asked the girl again, seeking some connection in the midst of chaos.

"I'm Liana," she responded, her voice firm. "Like you, a guardian, we need to gather the others. We cannot let your father's sacrifice be in vain."

Iñigo was teary-eyed, but he mustered all of his courage to move forward.

As they navigated the darkened path, the urgency of their mission and the memory of Carlos's final stand galvanized them.

Emerging into the dawn, the forest stood witness to their resolve. "We must be cautious," Liana warned. "The Obsidian's forces are relentless. They will not stop until they get all of us."

"We'll find the others," Iñigo vowed, a newfound determination in his voice. "We'll continue what our parents started. For my father, for all the guardians," Iñigo added, his voice still trembling from the last sight of his father, replaying in his memory over and over.

Their path forward was uncertain and fraught with peril, but Iñigo and Liana were driven by the legacy of the guardians and the sacrifices of those who came before. Stepping into the light of a new day, they embarked on a journey not only to fulfill their destiny but to honor the memory of Carlos Del Fuego and all guardians who had fallen in the fight for freedom.

Together, they ventured deeper into the woods, their spirits buoyed by the belief in their cause and the knowledge that, in unity, there lay strength and hope for the future.
