"Okay, cut it and tell me what this artifact is, that you were talking about on the phone that day?" I asked Bridget.

Her expressions changed a lot in that single second, and then she averted her gaze from mine.

"What did you do with Kasandra?" She tried to divert the topic somewhere else.

"None of your fucking business." I spat, opening the cell and walking in.

"I'm going easy on ya Bridget, don't you fuck with my mind."

"I asked what this artifact is and you'll answer just that." I threatened, grabbing her throat.

And pushing her against the wall, squeezing her windpipe—she struggled to get out of my grip but I loosened it slightly so she could speak.

"Tell me."

"I-i don't know w-what you're talking about."

"I will not ask again Bridget," I said squeezing my grip.

"You are one squeeze far from your death, tell me," I said, Zeus was etching to come out but I had to keep him in, this woman was playing with my patience.

"I'm n-not lying." She said and coughed, Zeus came out.

She wasn't even agreeing that there was a thing like that artifact.

I squeezed it harder, her eyes about to pop out as they went wide when she tried desperately to breathe.

I loosened the grip one more time.

"Kasandra there is being tortured, getting bathed in Wolfsbane and after that getting chunks of her body ripped out by my warriors, then they'll skin her alive and burn her ashes, if this is what she is experiencing then just think about what I'll do to you," I warned.

She looked up at me, her facial expressions looking as she was considering something.

"You've done worse things to me, and I'll make sure make each one count when I kill you, but maybe, maybe I'll think about lessening your torture if you tell me the truth, don't be scared of letting out someone's secret cause they won't come after you, you'll be dead in an hour."

"Then kill me! I can't tell you anything about it, things like that are better far from the hands of a man like you, you'll always think of destruction." She spat, I tightened my grip again and she gasped, eyes widening one more time.

"Don't worry about that, you'll be dead and I know you don't give a fuck about anyone so don't play this I-care-for-others card on me, it's my business, whatever I do with it, just fucking answer my questions completely!" I hissed.

My claws emerging, and digging in her neck, she squirmed.

My canines lengthening out, with anger.

"You know my limit, Bridget," I said one more as I knew Zeus has taken over, my eyes would be pitch black at this point.

"Th-that artifact." She said and paused, glared at me and I saw the look of anger and defeat in her eyes before she continued, it was bursting her ego bubble.

"And?" I asked.

"It is used for reviving the dead, only four people can be revived with it, it is buried in deep depths of Redgebound's ruins." She breathed out, and my brows shot up.

"What?"

"Yes, I know about it because my ancestors hid it there, it is still there."

"Who wants it? who was telling about it?"

She paused for a moment.

"The Oracles."

"The Oracles?" I asked, out of confusion.
