"ROMA!" I yelled through the forest. I knew I wasn't alone now, but I had to find her. I counted three figures closing in on me and two in the trees. "Shit." I cursed under my breath, pushing myself to go faster.

In the distance, Roma's figure appeared next to a tree. My eyebrows drew together though when I realised she wasn't moving. Getting closer, I saw the spear protruding out of her chest.

When her glassy dead eyes met mine, I stumbled backward. I felt my back hit something soft, not a tree, a person. I whipped around with my broadsword at the ready. I hoped it was Bellamy or one of the others, but as fate held it, it wasn't.

The grounder had a mask covering half of his face, shielding anything but is eyes. He dove for me, but I jumped out of the way, barely missing his outstretched knife. He swung through the air, trying to stab me. I couldn't keep playing cat and mouse, I had to play offense.

When he went to stab me again, I dropped to the floor and kicked his hand that held the knife, making him drop it. His eyes narrowed and I could have sworn I heard a chuckle. He then grabbed another knife from the holster on his leg. He dropped to floor and got a hold of my throat with his grubby, dirty hands. With his hand on my neck and his foot on my ankle, I couldn't move. I knew that if I didn't move right now, I'd be dead. With my hand outstretched, I felt around for my sword. I had dropped it only a moment before he pounced onto me.

He began to trail the knife down my cheek, taunting me with a sick smile on his face. If I moved, the knife would surely cut my face.

There. My hand just barely grazed the metal of it's handle. My fingers tightened around it and I swung. The blade caught the grounder right in the temple. His body went limp as it fell against me, just grazing my cheek with the tip of the knife. I hissed as the metal split the skin on my cheekbone, blood pooling out of it. I pushed him off of me with a groan, realising that I was now covered in a mix between his and my blood.

Once standing, I looked down at my clothes that now looked like they belonged in one of the old horror movies. I wiped the blood off that laid splattered on my cheek, but more than likely I just smeared it around. With my sword in one hand, I made my way back to Roma's body.

When her limp and speared body came into view, I stopped and stared at her dead eyes. I felt her orbs probe my mind for answers. 'Why didn't you save me, Hailey?' She implored. 'Why? Hailey? Hailey. Hailey.'

"Hailey!"A different voice called, breaking my delusion. I whipped around and came face to face with Elliot. Immediately, he collapsed against me in a bone-crushing hug. "Are you okay?" He muttered into my hair. I nodded, meeting Bellamy's eyes over his shoulder.

'Are you really?' He mouthed to me. I pursed my lips and broke his gaze, not wanting to break my facade.

After Elliot and I's hug, Bellamy turned to Roma's dead body. "She only came because of me." He muttered, closing her eyes with his hand. I set my hand on his shoulder.
