climin' up a maintain top
climin' and no stoppin' stop
climin till my ears go pop
climin' up a mountainthe road is ragged-jagged
curlin' closer to my jacket
wind making all the racket
climin' up a mountainatop the wide mountaintop
hardships won and hardships fought
the tops of shops burned in my thought
i climbed up a mountainthen
tumblin' down the mountain foot
rumblin' like goliath's foot
wheelin' till my back stays put
tumblin down a mountaineyes apart, my back departs
the sheets from my cold march
lips break free from the hush
and let go what was kept"i haven't climbed the mountain yet"
