"I specifically told you not to go out!" My mom shouted at me.

I just looked down at my shoes. Not having the courage to look at her in the eyes.
It's always scary to look at my mom in the eyes when mad...

"Luz, something could have happened to you! And I wouldn't even know!" She slammed her hand on the dinner table.

Apparently I miscalculated my plan. Or you could say that it failed...

After the...party...

I ran.

Ran away from it all.
I didn't even wait for my friends. I just wanted to leave that place as fast as possible....

When I arrived home.

The lights in the house were on.

I already knew what that meant.

"...."

"Responde Luz!" My mom said.

I couldn't however.

I simply looked up at her. My eyes full of tears.

"Lo siento..." a simple 'sorry' is all I could tell her.

She shook her head, obviously stressed. I should've listened to her.

"Go to your room. You're grounded..." she said turning her back on me.

She rubbed her eyes with her hand. Letting out a stressful sigh.

Without saying a word, I walked upstairs.

Slowly limping, since I fell while running back to my house.

It wasn't until I got ontop, when I heard her slowly start to sob.

I walked to my room, closing my door, and walking towards my bed.

I wrapped myself with my blanket, hugging my pillow tightly.
Crying into it.

I just wanted to be happy...

"Mittens?" Edric called.

I slowly looked at him. He was across me.

The three of us were eating cereal.
It was morning.
And i...didn't really get much sleep last night.

The whole...party was just in replay in my head.

"Whoa...are you okay? You have bags under your eyes" Emira said.

I simply shook my head, looking down at the bowl infront of me.

I didn't feel like eating anymore. I just...wanted to go to my room.

"...I'm not hungry" I told them, standing up from my seat.
