Chapter Fourteen.

Seth looked at the vampire in front of him, this little woman was the one Marcus feared, he nearly laughed, but when her grey fell on him he shuddered, she was sizing him up, and when her eyes returned to meet his blue eyes, she smirked.

"Marcus are you not going to introduce us?" she asked with a smile.

Her accent was strange and Seth couldn't place it, he didn't know where she was from but her accent was alluring, it mesmerised him, and he didn't like it.

"I don't think you need an introduction do you?" he hissed, she knew damn well who Seth was because she could also read minds so she would have all the answers she needed.

Isabella rolled her eyes even after two hundred years he was still an uptight bore, "I was expecting a warmer welcome to be honest."

"I bet you were!" Marcus said growing irritated with her, he was waiting for her to show her true colours but as of yet she had been nice, and it wasn't something Marcus was used to.

"I'm going upstairs you two can sort this shit out yourselves," Seth told them walking past Isabella, she stepped out of his way and watched him as he walked up the stairs.

The moment he was out of view she flew at Marcus slamming him into the wall, "You didn't stick to our plan Marcus and that doesn't please me."

Marcus pushed her away from him and growled, "I never agreed to your stupid plan in the first place!"

Isabella tilted her head to the side as though she was thinking about it and shrugged, "You don't get a choice anyway!"

They had never completed the bond, Marcus had never drank from her since she first turned him and he didn't want to because he would take half of her power, and with that came half of the evilness that she had festering inside her cold black heart.

"You think I want to be bonded to you?" he laughed coldly.

She was furious she really thought that he would have changed his mind, but from his reaction he was as stubborn as ever but this time she wasn't letting him go, he was going to be bonded to her whether he wanted to or not.

Seth was a little worried about the vampire that had just stormed into his house, but his priority was Paige and whatever shit Marcus had going on was his problem. He stood in the doorway watching her she was still sobbing, he walked into the room with a huff, and the door slamming made her jump. She turned to look at him, her face streaked with tears, and then she turned her back on him and curled up dismissively.
