a few days later-

they finally got back home.

miley usually sleeps with noah in his bed.
she doesn't really sleep in her room a lot but she's still in there a lot cause her makeup and all of her clothes are in there. but sometimes they slept in her room. they usually slept in the same bed just switched between their rooms.

she was in her room fixing up her hair.
noah was working out downstairs
he had come upstairs to shower and then he got dressed
after he got dressed he went in miley's room.
time to give her the talk.

she was laying on the floor on her phone
he knocked on her door
"come in"
he came in
"why are you on the floor weirdo"
he said with a smirk as her walked towards her bed.
she shrugged her shoulders.
and smiled.
he motioned for her to go sit with him on her bed.
she stood up and sat on his lap facing him.
"you look good"
he said to her and she said thankyou
"miley we need to talk about something"
you could tell he didn't want to talk about it
he looked sad.

"what's up"
she replied.
he took a deep breath.
"noah what's wrong"

"miley i- i'm got accepted into harvard for college"
her heart dropped.
"harvard? like the one all the way in massachusetts"
she asked him.
he slowly nodded his head
she wanted to start crying.
but this isn't about her.
this is about noah and his career.

she looked at him
and held her tears back.
"good for you noah i'm very proud of you"
"you're not going to cry?"
he asked.
"as much as i want to, this isn't about me. it's about you and your career. and if this is what you want noah,then i'm all for it. the distance will suck but we can get through this"
he smiled.
"i don't even know if i'm going to go"
"noah,if you don't go just please promise me it's not because of me"
he looked down
"miley we finally started dating. i'm so fucking in love with you. i just don't want to leave you. i'm so happy being with you and living with you."
she smiled.
"just please promise me that you're final decision has nothing to do with me"

but it finally hit her.
it was april.
noah would he leaving for college soon.
and she wouldn't have him.

he hugged her
"you know it's okay to cry miley"
a few tears dropped down from her eyes.
"i'm proud of you noah,i just didn't realize how fast time has went. you're gonna be in college soon"
he sighed.
"i know"
she smiled and kissed him.
"this will be okay baby."
she smiled and nodded.
